Japanese Fashion!

Ok, so I'm gonna rant about Japanese Fashion! lol! The reason why I love Japanese Fashion is because it's unique and colorful. It's all about originality and creativity. There's so many different styles that came from Japan: Gothic Lolita, Sweet Lolita, Decora, Ganguro, Visual Kei and many more! I first discovered Ganguro/Kogal and fell in love with Japanese Fashion after that. But my favorite J-Fashion style is Decora. I am obsessed with Kawaiiness! lol! I love anything and everything Kawaii. Kawaii is my favorite Japanese word! And Decora is very cute! It really emphasizes youth. It has that youthful aura to it. Alot of bright colors and toys are used in the style. And of course I like the Ganguro/Kogal style! Well, some of the things in that style I don't like, but it's cute overall. The style is sort of Island-y because they use alot of Hawaiian Lei's and stuff. Another style I like is Japanese Urban style. Like Japanese Rock and Hip-Hop Artists style and some Visual Kei. I freakin' love their hairstyles! The J-Rock hairstyles! But I think the style is more Visual Kei though. I really like the punk and funky Japanese styles. Although I love Kawaiiness, it's not just about Kawaiiness all the time. lol. I like the really trendy and Hip-Hop styles too. Although Cosplay isn't really a Japanese Fashion trend, I still love it! Dressing up as your favorite Anime and Video Game characters is very cool!

Then there's Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku Girls. I love Gwen Stefani! She's one of my favorite artists! I go B-A-N-A-N-A-S for her music! But I really don't like her Japanese style. Her clothing lines, L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers, are overpriced and they're more like wannabe Japanese fashion. And her Harajuku Girls are only wearing clothes from her clothing lines. Some of the stuff from her clothing lines are cute, but it's just not Japanese Fashion. And when you buy something from a clothing line that's more wannabe Japanese fashion than original, it takes away from the individuality. You're not Japanese style (or Harajuku style as some people call it. Harajuku is not a Fashion style or trend!) and you're only supporting that label.
