I've been mostly good this year (with a few good-natured exceptions) and would loooove it if you drew one (or more?!) of my OCs for Christmas ^^ You can draw them anyway you'd like as long as it has some relevance to their real personalities (ie: If they hated sunlight for example, please refrain yourself from drawing them frolicking in a sun-filled meadow and laughing happily about it, since this is something they wouldn't actually do). Colored or uncolored, posed or scene - it's all up to you 8D

Character #1:
Zale Amelia Callaghan
Age= 19
Hair= Black, short, and ridiculously spiky, bangs brushed off to one side that are longer than the rest of her hair.
Eyes= such light green they often appear to be gold/yellow in the light.
Skin= Average caucasian. Nothing extreme vampire white but not a beach tan either. Leans more toward yellow/brown tones.
Height= 5”10
Race= Human - witch.
Ancestry= Speaks with a soft, slight Irish accent - of Celtic and Russian decent
Tattoos= She loves henna and tattoos herself often with it, but no permanent tattoos. Zale isn’t the worlds biggest fan of needles...
Piercing= Both ears twice
Home= The Isle of Rathlin which is just north of the tip of Ireland. Born human into a family of witches in a modern day, Zale at first loved magic - but as she grew older, realized how troublesome it could be. Around 15, Zale gave up The Practice to her family’s disappointment, and is doing her best to live as a normal teenage girl. Wanting to get as far away from Ireland and their superstitious beliefs, Zale moved to America when she was 18 and graduated from High School, starting from literally nothing. She now lives on the East Coast in a tiny apartment with her human roommate.
Personality= Because of her feelings towards magic, Zale remains cautious of new things but also has the primal instinct to want to help people if she’s able. She makes odd observations that would bother most people while things that others might consider normal - she’ll be estranged to. Zale has a quirky sense of humor and enjoys loosing herself in a scene. Unfortunately, she places the strange barrier between herself and others by classifying them as mortals or humans and refuses to see herself capable of being an equal to them. If anything, she sees herself as something lower who cheats their way through life despite the fact that she has given magic up.
Likes= Storms, unique fashion, honesty, kebabs, learning new things, sharing dreams, studying people, yellow or orange, birds, texting, and sunsets.
Dislikes= Unreasonable people, cheating, self-fulfilling magic, morbid mindsets, people who spell-beg, being alone or forgotten, When her roommate eats all the food in the fridge, having her picture taken, rap music, black, having to use force, and stereotypes.
Occupation= Waitress at The Olive Garden in town.
Power(s)= She bonded very strongly with weather magic - specifically lightning, but has an incredible amount of control over it so it never gets out of hand. Traditionally though, she was raised in a family of grey witches who consider themselves to never take ‘sides’ - be it good or evil - so they practice both forms of magic and simply do what they feel like. Be it good, bad, or reckless.
PS= Ignore the designs on her face, those aren't usually there, this was just part of a depiction of a part in her story :3
Chatacter #2:
Ava
Age= 17
Hair= White, rigidly straight down to her thighs, no bangs. She usually parts them to one side or the other rather than just letting it part naturally down the middle.
Eyes= Dark Blue
Skin= Ava has no pigmentation in her skin or hair due to vitiligo universalis, a skin dissorder. She was pretty tan as a kid but then suddenly, over a mere two-week period, she lost all pigmentation. So needless to say, she's PALE. (this also means her lashes are white)
Height= 5"3 - she's very delicate and almost breakable looking but has a sweet demeanor about her.
Race= Human
Ancestry= Unknown
Tattoos= None
Piercing= None, though I'm sure she'd get a couple if she could since she likes earrings a lot and wears wraps in their place.
Home= An orphanage that's falling apart and has been abandoned by the state in the far reaches of the city near the poor end of town. Eventually, discovering it's dormant state, random orphans and homeless kids began to make their home there - Ava was among these first pioneers after running away from her third foster family. Since that time many kids have come to call the crumbling building home.
Personality= Incredibly observant and geniunely interested in others, Ava has the ability to approach life in a completely unbiased manor. She's kind hearted and has devoted her life to serving God. Upbeat and determined - there's not much that stands a chance against her once she sets her mind to something. She doesn't have a temper but can occasionally seem sanctimonious because of the cheerful and religious way she approaches life. Ava devotes her life to helping others and generally easily makes friends.
Power(s)= Ava has a type of ESP, if you will. Often, she will /feel/ the true intentions of a person or a situation before it occurs. However, it is completely involuntary and she cannot control it. It's completely harmless, but makes her unusually sharp and insightful. It also makes her very unbiased and genuine since she sees the truth naturally behind people's facades.
Fashion Statement= She's a very gentle kind of pretty and wears very plain clothing. Since Ava gets cold easily, she's often seen wearing long sleeved shirts with a casual style. Turtlenecks, cowlnecks, and likes simple, bold colors. Gemtones are her favorite - especially turquoise. Bootleg, well-worn jeans and a good pair of sneakers are all she needs. Oh, and Ava also has an oddly large assortment of scarves... o_0
or Character #3:
Bellatrissa Hallows
Age= 16
Hair= Black and choppy that's about shoulder length. She has a single braid that reaches down to her hips on the right side, near her face, covered by messy layers. It's all that is left of her long hair that was cut off by some bullies in the Villiage. She has overly-long bangs that often fall into her face.
Eyes= deep blue with a light purple over and under her eyes naturally that just blends back into her white skin.
Skin= white. Literally, if you draw her - there is no color for her skin. However, her lips are blue and that's about it aside from her eyes.
Height= 5"9
Race= Human
Ancestry= Roma.(Or Romani - commonly considered gypses) She was the acrobat of the family show, also known as a Solo Flyer. From European descent
Tattoos= a strange design on her upper left arm. She can't even remember how she got it.
Piercing= none
Home= In the deserted encampment with her dead family. She prefers to stay in the preformance arena. Also, her story takes place durring the early 1800s
Personality= Durring the murder of her family she let herself be burried under the corpses of her family. Burried so deep that even when they stabbed through the bodies to make sure no one was alive and then burned them - she wasn't even touched or burned, she was so soaked in blood. She stayed - burrying everyone after it was over - but ever since then Bellatrissa has become somewhat paranoid of the world and everyone in it. She is quiet and tends to stick to the shadows and doesn't know how to communicate with others. Scared of everything around her it seems, Bellatrissa is quite a recluse and avoids leaving her home at almost all costs. However, she is also quite gentle and thoughtful and remains determined in her lonliness to survive despite the odds.
Power(s)= She can see her family even if they don't want to be seen and touch them. Bellatrissa is stronger than practically any other girl because of her athletic build as a Flyer but she is very timid and easily frightened - she would never use her strength against anyone.
Fashion Statement= Bell always wears the same outfit no matter what - both because it's the only outfit she was able to save since she was wearing it durring the massacre, but because she sees it as a waste of money to go buy new clothing when what she has is just fine. Despite her natural wish to want to be invisible, her outfit is all reds, oranges, and yellows. She wears traditional Roma female clothing with a long skirt that reaches to the ground and a tight, short-sleeved, bateau-cut top along with bangles on her hips, wrists, and ankles. Bell prefers to go barefoot.
