A man behind a desk said with great loathing, "Can I help you?"
Fai cheerfully set down his suitcase. "I hope you can, Professor Severous
Snape," Fai responded, reading the man's name from a plaque on his desk.
"What can I do for you," the intimidating man said without interest.
Fai continued to grin as he said," Well, you see, I'm the new defense against
the dark stuff teacher--" Snape twitched--" and I'm trying to find my office."
" As head of the Slytherin house, I have two offices. This is one, and the other
is located in the school dungeons, where I teach potions. Your room is on the second door
to the right. I trust you wont lose you're way again, Professor....?"
"Fai, sir. Fai D. Flowright," Fai said apologetically, grabbing Snape's clammy
hand and shaking it vigorously.
"Nice to meet you, and all that, but we have to unpack now," Kurogane said
rudely from behind Fai.
"And you are..?"
Kurogane flushed and he said, almost inaudibly, "I'm the teacher's assistant."
Excuse us." With that , Kurogane pushed Fai out the door, remembering to grab mokona too.
Snape blinked as they left. What had that creature been? He'd only caught a
glimpse of it before the door shut in his face. From beyond the door, he could hear Fai's
triumphant voice.
"I tooooold you it was the fifth door on the left, the third stair case and the
second door on the RIGHT!"
