Macau's total monthly gaming revenue rises for 14th straight year

More than 30 casinos in Macau reportedly saw total gaming revenue rise by about 16.1% year-on-year to about $2.65 billion in September, despite still recovering from the effects of Typhoon Hato and relatively weak tropical storm Pakar last month.

September marked Macau's 14th straight month of total gaming revenue growth, while the $8.32 billion posted throughout the third quarter marked a 21.8% increase, according to official figures from the Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau of the former Portuguese residence.

According to reports, Deutsche Bank Securities analysts Carlo Santarelli and Danny Valloy explained that Macau's VIP aggregated total gaming revenue rose about 38% year-on-year in the third quarter, compared to 35% in the previous quarter. This represents a decline in last quarter's 9% improvement, but is reportedly up 6% due to gaming tables and slot activity in the public market. 슬롯머신
