Weapons and Defense

  • Wave Motion Gun: connects the Wave Motion Engine to the firing gate at the Yamato's bow, transforming energy from the Wave Motion Engine itself into a firing beam that can destroy an entire fleet or planet in just one-shot, but it can't function without all of the ship's non-essential turned-off. After firing, it takes a critical period for the Yamato to recharge its Wave Motion Engine.
  • Shock Cannons: three-barelled gun turrets capable of shooting energy beams that spiral around each other to combine into a single beam to damage or destroy enemy ships.
  • Pulse Lasers: two-barrelled and four-barrelled gun turrets that line the sides of the Yamato and are used for firing energy pulses at enemy planes and detoniting missiles.
  • Torpedo Tubes: forwrd-firing tubes for underwater battle
  • Side Missiles: anti-matter missiles fired from the missile ports in the Yamato's hulL, but instead of hitting the enemy directly, they blow up at safe distance to form an energy web to detonate incoming missiles from attackers.
  • Stack Missiles: missiles fired from the smoke stack of the Yamato.
  • Reflective Shield: used for covering the Yamato's entire exterior, using a reflective material. Therefore, when an enemy ship sends a beam/missile to the the Yamato, its shield reflects the attack back at the enemy ship attacking.

Propulsion

  • Wave Motion Engine: the yamato's main engine, created by alien technology. It allows the Yamato to travel faster than the speed of light
  • Auxilary Engine: twin jet engins located below the Yamato's main engine port.
  • Wings: provide the Yamato lift in atmospheric places. The wings can unfold from the ship's starboard and port sides.
  • Rocket Anchors: located on the Yamato's bow and are used for not only for hooking onto asteroids, but also providing a gravity-asisted slingshot and defect enemy ships from making a collision.
  • Rotating Asteroid Defense: requires use of shock cannons to fire waves of small metaprobes into asteroid fields with the probes themselves capable of bringing asteroids close to the Yamato. During use of this method, the asteroids can form an orbiting ring around the Yamato with its angle controlled from the ship's main bridge to block indiviudual shots from enemies and when the enemies themeselves get too close to the Yamato, those asteroids ten travel in high speed in all directions.
  • Bubble Shield: a generated shield capable of protecting the decks of the Yamato from space storms by covering over them and creating a breathable atmosphere inside the shield itself.
