Sweety nodded and pulled us to a Hummer the band owned Jazzy was pulling Kage to the Hummer with us I jumped in front pulling Ryan with me I guess I wanted to sit on his lap badly I have no clue Sweety drove to her village It was small but it had lots of stuff.

I smelled Jess she was in my home town she set little distractions on where she was but I knew where she was My old Village I lived there lots I drove there Amby sat on the Ryan guy's lap it looked as if he was entertaining her by pouncing her up on his knee it reminded me of what My daddy used to do

I had to see what Sweety had in her hands and I did I saw a guy I had no clue his name but I think I saw him at a Bar ounce or twice and another guy that Kage said was named Phil Izzy was looking at the picture mostly at the Phil guys picture she looked like she was blushing shes planning a game!!!!YAY!!!

I walked into the room and saw Jazzy, Amby and people that I didn't know.
"Kage, who's that?" Jazzy asked, pointing to Phil in a picture.
"That's Phil. One of Ryan's brothers." I explained.
"Oh okay." Jazzy said.
"Kage, this is my band. Kryptdonite, Rose, Sweety, Jane, R.J and Loki." Amby said, pointing to each of them.
"Hi, I'm Kage." I said.
"Ooh! Is this the guy that you're having-" Jane started, but she was cut off by Jazzy nudging her in the rib with her elbow.
"Ow! That hurt!" Jane yelled, rubbing her ribs.
"Whoops. Arm slipped." Jazzy said, innocently.
"Sure, arm slipped. That's it." Jane mumbled, sarcastically.

"Jess, just turn back and go home. The woods are too dangerous." I said, holding her arm and trying to convince her go back.
"Ugh! For the last time, Luke, I'm not going back there! I was just holding them back! I was always the odd one out and the one who always needed to be saved! I'm doing them a favor!" She yelled.
"You're not doing them a favor! You're going to make them feel worse! Go home!" I yelled.
"No! Just leave me alone!" She yelled, pulling her arm out of my grasp and running again.
I chased after her and followed her scent. But she was gaining speed and pretty soon sense was all I had to work with.

The stabbing pain was still there and I tried everything to ignore it. Nothing seemed to be working so I left it alone.
I concentrated on shaking off Luke from my trail so I pulled out my dagger and made a clean cut on the palm of my hand.
I rubbed some blood on a tree nearby, then a rock going in the same direction and then I squeezed out some blood and left it in that direction as well.
After I finished, I ran the opposite way and never looked back.

I soon came to a little village. I figured that this would be perfect, I could start fresh.
It was about nighttime and I entered the village with my backpack still slung over my shoulder and my hand bandaged.
I could stay the night and then start running in the morning. I used the money I had which wasn't too much but enough to get me by for about two or three weeks.
I bought more food and water and walked to a little park. I would spend the night there.

As I was passing Jess's bedroom it was oddly quiet. I opened the door a bit expecting to see her sleeping but I found her window open, a note and her cell phone beside it.
'Dear, all,
Sorry for being such a burden to you. If you're mad at me for running away, I understand. But I'm doing this because it'll be better for all of you this way. You won't have to save me anymore, you won't have me getting into any trouble anymore, and you won't have me tagging along, slowing you down. Yes, I know what I'm doing is life threatening but you'll thank me. Maybe not now, or tomorrow, but you will. I hope. Please don't try looking for me.

When Amby said those words. It proved my theory right. I was just a burden. I was just something that needed saving over and over again.
I was mad at myself for thinking otherwise. All of those thoughts before were all wrong. I didn't belong there. I didn't know where I belonged.
Amby was right, she couldn't save me all the time. I thought back to all the times she did. Either I was about to get killed, raped or kidnapped and then killed.
It wasn't fair to them and I would get off their backs as soon as possible. I'd do anything to make them happier then they were now and if it meant giving up everything I have, then that's what I'll do.

Lea's sister kept them busy and we went back home. I hadn't said a word the whole way there. I just kept my hood up and head down.
Jazzy and Kage got together and were now happy so I guess I won't have to worry so much about them. Ryan and Amby were happily together as well, so that's four people that I won't have to worry about.
Without a word, I let my legs carry me to my room and before I knew it, all my stuff was packed, there was a note on my bed and I was sprinting off to who-knows-where.
At least they'll be happy.

"Did you smell her blood?" I heard Ethan ask Heith. They were seated in one of the many rooms in the palace eating some human again.
"That other girl was good, too." Heith said.
"But her blood was bitter. The other girl was virgin and human." Ethan said.
"What are you talking about now? Planning your next snack?" I asked, bitterly. I never liked my brothers. They raped all the girls I ever loved and took them away from me.
"We wish. Some mixed breed got in our way before we could even eat." Heith replied.
"You should've been there Aidan. You might've actually known what it was like to be a real demon." Ethan said, teasingly.
They knew how much I was against eating humans so they always said I wasn't a real demon.

I looked up at the sky. It looked like it wouldn't get any better. It was dawn now and it was very cold.
I never knew if I'd see any of them again. Luke, probably. He did live in the forest and he does know where I am 24/7.
I pulled my hood up more. I had left my cell phone sitting on my bed beside the note. I didn't want anybody to come save me. It's easier this way.
I kept on running, I still didn't know where I was going until I came to my old house.
Well, I didn't have any food or water so I figured why not? I grabbed the spare key that I always kept hidden and unlocked the door. I stepped inside, grabbed what I needed and left.
