Star Crossed
Ever since kindergarten, when I fatefully began to watch Sailor Moon, I knew that anime and I were star-crossed lovers and destined for each other. Alright, maybe that's the most dramatic way I could have put it, but it's true... M...Anime VS Manga ^^
Alright, first I would like to propose to you all an idea I have! Please don't skip this because I need three more people to join for this idea to work... Thanks! ^^ My idea is to create a new profile titled AnimeCentral or something less corny (xD), and to have five separate people make their own worlds on there for a specific thing. Ideas for worlds I have are: Anime reviews (HB32), Anime Parodies/funny comics (BLHK), Anime Character Profile Features, Anime Fanfics, and Anime Music/J-pop. I need three people to join me so please let me know if you'd be interested in doing this!
Now, the question today is whether you all prefer anime or manga!
I prefer anime because I can see the moving pictures, and hear the voices and everything. Manga sound effects and action sequences are hard for me to understand because everything is in black and white. I also can't find a good site to read manga on without getting viruses, and even when I try to read a manga I end up not finishing it because I get too lazy to read it. Dx
So what do you all prefer?
Please read my idea stated in the first paragraph! It wouldn't kill you to do so! :D

Can anyone do this dance?! I really wanna learn it, but it's really complicated... =_=
Subs VS. Dubs ^^
Haha I just know I'm gonna get a lot of hate comments from this, but this is such an irritating subject for me that I had to make a post from it. xD
OK, so all people have different opinions. Some like their animes subbed, and some like them dubbed! I'm perfectly okay with this! You like dubbed animes, good for you! What I hate is people who trash dub-haters for no reason. It annoys the crap outta me. >_< But that's really off topic!
Anyways, I want you all to tell me what you prefer: subs or dubs?
Personally I am a fan of subs. Here are my top two reasons.
1. It sounds more natural to the character. For some reason when I watch dub my mind splits the video into two separate things: audio and video. It's weird because I can never see them as the same thing! With the subs I can picture the character talking in that voice. Yes, I know I have mental problems. xD
2. Dubbed usually changes the storyline. Sometimes it's not too drastic, but others it is. Like Sailor Moon, for example. The anime in Japan is all cool and epic and action-y. But in English it's a show I liked as a kindergartener. It's so baby-ish I feel embarrassed watching it, and Serena's voice is so high-pitched I thought my ears were going to start bleeding. Now is it just me or does that seem plain stupid? Or it's just my mental problems, huh? :3
Let me know if you like dub/sub and tell me your reasons if ya want! And don't be afraid to leave hate-comments! Because I want to see how passionate you all are about subs and dubs! I honestly want to shoot something whenever someone bashes subs, so I hope it's the same for you all. If not, I officially am crazy. T.T

I don't know why I torture myself by watching videos like this, but seriously, I want to murder this guy here. >=] A good example of idiots who bash on others. >_<
OCs Quiz: Ayre McCarney
Stolen from greenleaf (plus a bunch of numbers I forget ^^;)! AKA Gem! 1. You must choose only ONE of your OCs. Do it again if you wanna use another OC. 2. Your OC must answer every question as truthfully as possible. 3. Title t...Anime Vegas! ^^
What's up everybody?! ^^ This weekend I had TONS of fun at the Anime Vegas anime convention! It was my first con ever, so I was pretty excited/nervous, but it ended up being tons of fun! :D Everybody was really nice there, and I even got a lot of pictures of cosplayers! (and not to mention spent 70 bucks on anime merchandise :3)
OK, so on Day 1 my friend and I mostly went to panels and such. I dressed up as Sailor Moon and this lady took a picture of me. She put it online too! You can look for it on nerdsociety.com under Photo Gallery. There are a lot of pictures from the convention on there! Very exciting! We also went to the Silver Millenium Ball, but we left after an hour and went to the 'Your Anime Sucks' panel. Freaking hilarious. XD On Code Geass, the lady called it Code Gayas, and called Lelouch 'Ledouche.' I wanted to shank her... But the other ones like Death Note and Shugo Chara were hilarious!
On Day 2 I went solo with meh Daddy. We went to a Vocaloid panel where these girls did the whole Luka Luka Dance Fever (or whatever ^^;), it was amazing! And I went to a Code Geass panel where Johnny Yong Bosch talked about his failed attempts to help the homeless. Haha even though I don't like dubbed, he is freaking funny. xD I wanted to get his autograph (as well as Christina Vee's) but I left during the times they were doing that. T.T Also, the Masquerade Contest thing was on that day too! (where people do skits and stuff) Some lady dressed as Hinamori sang Hopelessly Devoted to You to Aizen. xD It was really funny. And there were these really fat people dressed as sailors... 0____o Disturbing...
Day 3 was kinda a blah day, since everyone was getting ready to leave and such. My friend came this time and we went to this 'Whose Line is It?' panel thingy, where people stood onstage and did improv parodies. It was perverted, but hilarious!
What did I spend the 70 bucks on? Well, I bought a HUGE poster of Code Geass (<33), I bought Sode no Shirayuki (it was only 20 bucks too!), two pictures of Ulquiorra and Lelouch, a stuffed pig (SO cute!), and a bell. X3 I'm one of those impulse buyers, just anime style...
Overall, I had a great time this weekend! I cannot wait at all for next year's convention! :D
See ya laterz!
