“No worries, we’ll get you home in time.” Yoki said while they were running out the door."
"But... I need to pick up a gallon of milk!"
"Okay, don't worry, I know a place on the way."

"Wow, it's so dark outside!" Lin Ling said with amusement.
"Well, it is past dusk, silly!" Yoki said with a smile.
"Oh, I knew that..." Lin Ling said with a silly face.
"At lest the stars are bright tonight..."
"Yea... Yoki... Why are you being so nice to me? I mean, no one else has ever showed an interest in me other than Reo, and I wouldn't call Reo ideal material for dating. But what I'm trying to get at is... Why me?"
"Well, good question. See when I first came here, to Tamyoko, I looked around and saw nothing but boring ol' girls like they are in Mamiha. But when I saw you in that dinner, that day, I thought you were the most beautiful girl I've ever seen! And after meting you, I only fell deeper into your trance."
"I have a trance?"
"Oh, yes, and it is created by your amazing intelligence. It is unique and different. Lin Ling-chan, you are one of a kind."

Just then... as I looked into his eyes, I couldn't help but fall to him. His words were like grace, his body was of like an angel, and his eyes only made it harder to resist his charm. Sooner than I thought his lips were touching mine. Although I thought it was out of line, I couldn't help but like it.

"Oh... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that..." Said Yoki with a quick jerk.
"Um, uh, It's okay... Don't worry about it."

He smiled, as a relief to the tension; which was all around us. But I didn't let him get off that easily. I don't know what came over me, but I just dived into what I though I was running from. Kissing him, passionately. I was gently touching his luscious lips with mine. The feelings just flew around my body; from my fingertips, to my toes. This kiss, this boy, this one person, has made me feel like a thousand me's.
After that, we just walked to the store. Walking next to him, so close that our hands would touch every few minutes. All of a sudden he just grabs my hand, probably in frustration of the constant bumping. I looked to him. He looked back at me and smiled. I felt this somewhat calmness with him. I can't explain it; it is like a feeling that everything is going to be all right, like nothing could go wrong.

"Here we are, I am good friends with the people who work here. So they're pretty cool with me." Yoki said while they walked through the sliding doors.
"Oh, okay."
"Hi Haku and Marlin. Where you keep the milk?"
"Oh, hi Yoki! What are you doing here so late?" Haku said.
"Milk's in tha back, just before you get to tha beer. So whose' your friend? Quiet a looker, if I do say so myself." Marlin said.
"Uh...umm..." A blushing Lin Ling mumbled.
"Is that all you ever think of Marlin? It's either beer or girls... This is Lin Ling, and we're just here to pick up some milk for her mom. So hands off Marlin."
"A gallon or quart?" Yoki asked Lin Ling who was clinging onto his shirt.
"Just a quart... umm how much are they, I may not have enough money."
"Oh, don't worry about it! I'll buy, but in return you’ll have to do something for me.”
“What would that be?”
“Go to Izzi's Saturday, and see me play."
"… Umm… Okay... It's a deal."
"No… It's a date!" Said Yoki while giving her a small wink.
"Okay... A date..." Lin Ling said to herself while the walked to the front of the store.
"Is this it?" Haku asked them.
"Want a ice cream?" Yoki asked Lin Ling
"(Lin Ling just nodes. A little bashful around people she don't know)"
"Give me two of your chocolate fug creams."
"Okay, that'll be $7.54." Haku said.

"See you later Yoki!" Marlin yelled as they left.
