1. Koloktos
The Hindu deity-like golden statue. Fitting perfectly with the story that inspired the Ancient Cistern (where you battle it) you face the most beautiful, exciting, and magical boss battle.
Like Twinrova you do use it against itself, using the swords from his broken off limbs to defeat it.
The area where you battle it is absolutely beautiful and I could definitely see this room being in some sort of palace in real life. The design is amazing.
There is so much put into this one boss that the entire boss battle I couldn't stop myself from thanking Nintendo, aloud, several times. It is beautiful experience, the entire temple and then ending with this boss battle.
It is a simply mind blowing battle.
That's why Koloktos has to be number 1.
