Omigosh!! This is sooo unlike AAA! Well...in a way, actually it isn't, very much. Since I love all of AAA's songs and all of them make me feel happy inside, and this song makes me feel happy inside.
Everyone looks so pretty, except Nissy, who...well, whoever dressed him shouldn't have given him so much blocky clothes. Really, there are so many was to make Nissy look like a dork! XD Shuta looked like and angel and Chiaki and Misako looked ADORABLE!! <333
Very sweet song, and they video is pretty calming, the directing is terrible, since everyone seems so sharp instead of smooth like the song is and how the director, I guess, was trying to make the video. That's why people SLOW IT DOWN!!
...bored...
Just a random picture I drew just now on SAI...I see kids chewing on their pencils all the time (that girl who stole my pencil was chewing on mine...does she even know where that's been?).
I don't chew on my pencils, I do play with them (and broke like ten pencils in doing so). I think I used to chew on my pencils...maybe...but most of my chewed up looking pencils aren't really chewed up. You see, when I'm bored I take out wooden pencils and start trying to cut them up with the table corners...I dunno why I do that...O.o
But my substitute for chewing pencils is touching my lips. Sometimes I take my turtle necks, or any part of my collar and just put it on my lips. People think I'm weird for doing that, but I like it! XD And sometimes I put my fingers to my lips and move them around like L. So when I first saw L do that I was like ,"Hey! Copy cat! That's my thing!" But I think a lot of people do that...I used to think L was such a copy cat, but...I just found out I was weird...XD I sit like him sometimes, eat like him sometimes, take on the phone like him sometimes...so when I saw him do all those weird things that I do I got really weirded out! XD But I like L...though I'm not obsessed with him like my friends...
I brought a Death Note manga to school just to examine the pictures, and it came with an L card thing, which I like to use as bookmarks because it looks really cool, and my friend begged me all day to have it, and it scared me. She almost scratched up my hands...I mean...he's not THAT good looking...O.o I like Light better, but I LOVE Mello! I like to call him Melly-mel! XD
I've always wanted to draw a picture of all my favorite characters, one of all my favorite male characters, and one of all my favorite female characters so you can see what my favorite type of characters are. I'd list them if I could remember them...
I wanna watch Durara!! *goes off to watch Durara*
More Bakuman
Turned a few more pages...XD
But I'm learning a LOT! Even though I don't this is something I should be learning from. But everything they've been talking about has to do with the two writers themselves.
Obata, I know, likes action stories, or masculine stories. And I guess they're basing the characters after themselves because Saiko just said he likes masculine manga. Obata said he's always wanted to draw a masculine manga, one with a lot of muscles and stuff like that (personally, I hate that kind of manga...but there are some exceptions. My brother loves that kind of manga).
So they're talking about what kind of manga does well...that made me think...Ermmm..y'know...the manga I wanna write...it's not main stream, it usually doesn't do very well...Well, Pandora Hearts did well, I guess. But idol manga doesn't do well. Hrmmm...lemme list some REALLY popular manga:
Ouran High School Host Club
Bleach
One Piece
Naruto
NGE
Death Note
Sailor Moon (don't think this one counts)
FMA
Cowboy Bebop
Gundam
I think those are probably the most famous. Most people have read those manga, or watched the anime. Now, what do they all have in common?...ermmm...yeah...well, they said in Bakuman that they all have battles and swords, but I added in some manga that don't have ANY battles like Death Note and Ouran High School Host Club, who may have mental battles, or comedic battles, but not physical battles.
Death Note's popular for the brilliant writing, and, well, Ohba-san and Obata-san did a great job on collaborating on this.
Bleach is popular because...ermmm...crap...most of these manga I'm not a fan of, or I think is really boring...ermm, it has action, and a lot of fan service characters...And the shounen style is popular...O.o
One Piece is popular because of the action and randomness and the fact that it's about pirates, which isn't very usual, but very interesting in the correct manor and style of writing. It's popular because of the interesting technique and how fun it is.
Naruto is popular...ermmm...really? Why is popular? Hrmmm...it's about ninjas...and they have magic...and they have swords...and they fight...and it's shounen. And some characters appeal to the female audience! There it is! Guys like Gaara, Sasuke, Itachi, and the fact that Sakura and Hinata are put into the mix...if it has a tad bit of romance and still keeps it's masculinity, then it'll do well, that's what I get from Naruto.
Neon Genesis Evangelion. IT'S GENIUS!!! The story is amazing! Sure it probably was an instant success, but y'know the writing was amazing, and it was on TV a lot, so somebody was SURE to watch it. Plus robots are VERY popular.
Ouran's popular because it's funny and it's a romance and it has a somewhat shounen style, which is good because Haruhi has to look more like a boy than a girl, which she is. It's the use of so many bishounens, plus the girl who doesn't care about them. That's why it did well, because it's so random.
Sailor Moon...I read somewhere about why it was famous...but I can't remember it now. Well, basically, the story was really unique for it's time and very interesting and girly...and I can't remember anything!! TT^TT
Full Metal Alchemist...I don't like it...>.> The only reason I see of why it's famous is because of Ed and the fact that he is short and lovable...>.>
Cowboy Bebop it's basically like every shounen's perks put together. It has a part "blues" feel, plus it's futuristic, and it just has so much stuff combined into one, so it's very interesting and popular when you have all the best parts of shounen manga all in one.
Gundam...it's about robots...I don't remember why I liked it so much...but I really liked it...maybe because it was on TV? Well, I actually found it a bit boring.
So...where would you find your manga would be? And how could you make it more popular?
If I missed anything or my points were bad, please tell me because I'm really tired and I just want to stop talking even though I just brought up something that I'd like to finish and get off my chest...>.>
Guhhhh...Bakuman! I'LL COME BACK TO YOU!!
Oh! And in case your thinking ,"WOW! SHE READS REEEAAALLLY SLOW!!" I actually was watching Coraline like 30 minutes ago (and reading Bakuman 20 minutes ago before I started typing this).
Bakuman...*dies*
PICTURE!! LOOK AT THE PICTURE:
*dies* I didn't think this part in Bakuman was realistic enough. I mean, the guy with the glasses (forgot his name even though I'm reading it right now) is a HUGE manga fan...but his reaction was just happiness. If I were in that situation...I'd fall onto the floor dramatically and cry to myself and then scream about my happiness for all that manga.
Yeah, those rows of books are manga!! *dies*
And then, he has that manga desk...OMIGOSH!!! TT^TT
I usually have a big dramatic fit about manga whenever I go to a book store with manga in it! XD I don't usually see that much manga...I have two rows of manga...but that's only like...20 manga...and I look at them all the time...
Now, How to Draw Manga books...if I were to gather them all...I would have like....6 or 7...and for those kinds of books, THAT'S A LOT! That would probably be more than I've ever seen at a book store...
And then there are some people who post pictures of their manga stashes, or "office" or working space...I ENVY THEM SOOOO MUCH!!! I really want my own office, my own kind of work shop....
My dream house/room would be a huge room to stock all my manga and other weeaboo stuff, with my desk, a ton of posters, my laptop, and any other materials. Then in the rooms next to that would be a room for my bed...which would just have a bunch of cute things and posters in it, nothing really big like my office would be. And then in another room would be the kitchen with a small eating room with a TV. And then a toilet room somewhere...I mean...bath room...seriously, I can't think of what they're called right now...
I'd probably have a TV in my office, though...I'm too used to having TVs in every room (I've lived in houses every since I was little like that). And a TV in my bedroom...
But the only part that would have to be big would be my office...
Ermm...wait...what about people who'd wanna come over? I'd have a fake room! One that I can take people into, and then behind that would be my needed stuff. Like, if they'd like to see that...but I don't plan on having anybody over...
Gahhh...I'm anti-social! XD My dreams would be living in a office alone, publishing my stuff from my house. I would talk to my editor on the phone or over e-mail and go outside sometimes...XD That sounds sad! XD
I actually have several alternative lives that I dream of. I have that anti-social dream, and then I have that jpop dream. I'd just live in a simple aparment, with a huge dance room and then my essential rooms, a bedroom, kitchen, and toilet. And that would be it...oh, with a TV and a huge mirror.
Then the more plain one, a simple room with an office, and I could just go to and from to my editor's or whatever job I have. Nothing over the top, only posters in my room, and everything neatly in a modern style (that looks really cool).
I like designing rooms, clothes, people, and stuff like that.
My mom keeps telling my I should be something that helps the rest of the world. I WILL be helping the rest of the world, I'll be making them happier! ^ ^
I'm a creative person, not a helpful person. Well, if I'm a creative person, then how come I can't make my own inventions and stuff that will help the world. There's a difference between a creative inventor and a creative artist. Sure, you can be both, but I can't invent anything!
I've already tried! TT^TT Though I have an eye for observing how things work...I just hate it in school where you're FORCED to observe and then talk about it and have a right or wrong answer...>.> I dislike school...just tell my what I need to know and stop trying to bring out my potential! I already know my potential! >:(
If some other people don't know theirs, well, then they should go to school. There should be a different school for people like me. People who actually care what's getting into their heads. You see, I want to learn things, but I find that my teachers aren't really doing anything. It's always boring, but when I learn stuff online, it's fun. Why is that? Is it that teachers keep pushing stuff, no, shoving stuff into my head? And then when I understand it, or learn it, they keep continuing pushing the same thing in my head so I get a headache and then I'm tired.
Really, we need a better education system! More creative teachers! And who cares if you're a teacher and you've worked there for 15 years! I mean, if you can't teach well, then there's no point in you continuing to work there. I know that may sound harsh, but I had a teacher who had worked at my school for a really long time, and she was TERRIBLE!! She went on and on about how experienced she was....>.> Yes, you're experienced, but you're not good at your job.
I learned NOTHING in her class and DID NOTHING...>.> I mean, I wrote a bit like the stuff I had written years before (essays, personal narratives, poems), but nothing new, and so that class was just like a waste of time in my life. Now I'm in high school and I'm just NOW learning what pronouns are...>.>
Well! Back to Bakuman!
Deadman Wonderland
And it's twists! XD
I was just on Manga Fox...dying for the next chapter (even though the most recent one just came out a few days ago), so I decided to read what other people thought at the forums. And most recently Ganta says he hates Shiro (doubt it's a spoiler).
And like...most of this one topic was all about how much they hated Ganta for being so mean to Shiro. And then at the end they were like ,"Oh, well turns out he was actually helping her out! Ganta's so nice and selfless!" ...it's so funny! XD They were the complete opposite a few days before it's release! I find that too funny!
I mean, I was mad at Ganta, too. I was like ,"WHAT THE HECK!? YOU'RE A NUT-JOB, TOO!?" I was mad at Ganta, and I kinda felt betrayed, and the same from everyone else...I'm still a bit disappointed with Senji...Senji needs to stop being so mean! And then it's revealed WHY he was being mean to Shiro...and...well...I'm like ,"That was RELIEF!! Omigosh! I thought you were as nuts as those other guys because of the prison! Glad ya haven't changed!"
Yes, so now I'm happy...again...XD
Hrmm...3 days until I get Deadman Wonderland Vol. 1! ^ ^ YAY!! I'M SOOOO EXCITED!! ^ ^ Then I'll order the rest of Chocolat.
Let's see...I've only read up to volume...I think 5 of Chocolat (since there aren't really and chapters)...so then two more that I need to read...or...wait....no, I haven't read 5, so that means 3 more...GUHHH!! SHIN JI-SANG AND GEO!! GET IT TOGETHER!! STOP WRITING THAT OTHER STUPID MANGA A CONTINUE CHOCOLAT!!
Though they DID say they're going back to it...they have literally no excuse for leaving it hanging! >:( Peach Pit was sick for a while, so they had to discontinue---I NEED TO READ THE NEW ROZEN MAIDEN AND SHUGO CHARA!! What have I been doing!?!?
Well, Shin Ji-Sang and Geo's new manga is Very Very Sweet...which...lemme get a summary of it:
Chuyosi is a restless troublemaker whose strict grandfather has finally been given the reins to crack down on him. His grandfather sends him on a quest to find the roots of their ancestry. The family names' roots brings him to Korea where his taxi driver, an chatty energetic girl named Very, passes out on him. Despite an ugly first encounter, the two later grow close and learn to respect each other's differences.
B.O.R.I.N.G.!!! That sounds SOOOO BORING!! Get back to the idol crap, please! You can tell that I really like the idol/music genre of manga.
This is the only one that looks good and has to do with music! I'll go read that J-pop one then...even though the art looks like crap...
Though, most artists improve A TON when doing their manga...even Kentaro Miura (which is actually a good thing if you started back in the '80's, if you haven't improved since then, there's something wrong with you). So maybe they're improve...
All this talk about manga...I should go read some! TO MANGA I HAVEN'T FINISHED OR STARTED!! AWAY!!
