Idolling Chap 2 Preview!
This is page 1! :D
Yeah, just showing ya page 1 'cause it's the most detailed one (sorta kinda)....well, it's got some landscape and sorta new character...Well, yeah, he's a new character! XD
This is the style I'll be doing the next couple 'o pages in.
I am very happy with Krita! The cross hatching tool makes my life so much easier! ;3; It looks like screentones, but it's not! MUAHAHAHAHHH! :D
I want to work on the other pages right now, but my hand is cramping...;3;
But I did finish the sketching of the rest of the pages....and some of them are really detailed (so many people...;3;) so it might take me a while...but the fact that I get to use Krita for toning...;w; SO HAPPY!! Its was really fun toning this page! :D
Alsooo...
Quick question!
Would you rather me post all the pages in one sitting OR
One page per day OR
Five pages per day
If I do one page per day then that would take almost a month, 22 days. If I do it five pages per day then it will only take me about 4 days or so.
But posting them all in one day....I just feel bad 'cause I feel like I'm spamming you gaiz! ;3;
Well, dats all folks! :D
ADIOSSS!!
Anime Finales
I just finished watch Ghost Hound and maaaan was the ending terrible.
It really started out brilliantly and I felt like it would be like the next Higurashi, but nope, nope, nope. It's where Higurashi could have gone, but didn't.
This explains why I didn't hear anything about it...at all...Maybe a little bit when it first came out, but it's just disappointingly bland...>3>
I don't like mixing my pschological/mystery/thrillers with magical fantasy religious magic magic...It just makes it into a scooby-doo show.
Let me explain why the ending was bad. It was overly rushed. There were so many things that were happening that could probably be explained, but fell too neatly into place and just made it seem so ridiculous. Mud slide on the bad guy's house? Seriously. I understand there was just a typhoon a moment ago, but suddenly a mudslide? And then suddenly the parents all show up and they have a nice time laughing and then we get the credits with them all smiling and it's a happy ending.
What?! So many times during that finale I was holding my head in shock because I couldn't believe, with how the rest of the anime was going, that they would just finish off everything so suddenly. What was the point of watching the show if they're going to do that?
I have a feeling that they were cancelled or stopped short somehow.
Enough about bad endings. This show made me ponder what a good anime finale is. I'd like to make a few recommendations based on that! :D
These are some anime that I have seen that you should definitely watch until the end:
Revolutionary Girl Utena : The fact that the end was kind of left open for more is not a problem here (I usually find a problem with that) mainly because the actual anime they stay in the school and the whole focus is on the school. Leaving it open saying that they would go on away from the school was very hopeful for me. Not only that but it was satisfying because it finished whatever story it was trying to tell, but let it up to you for interpretation. It was also a very beautiful ending.
Shin Sekai Yori: I remember thinking 'How in the world are they going to end this without just rushing it all?' while watching the second to last episode. It was sort of rushed, but the greatness of this ending is that it finally told you what the whole story was and answered the question that was constantly asked throughout the show. This is definitely an anime you should watch all the way through (I think there's one episode you can skip mainly because it just feels like fan service and it's never explained and it made my brain hurt so much 'cause everyone was suddenly homosexual...'orz)
Rozen Maiden Ouverture: It's only 2 episodes! But those episodes were sooooo great!! I think the second and last episode of that season was one of the most beautiful episodes I've ever seen in anime.
Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori: The first season had a pretty good ending, but it felt too personal for the characters? Like ya, that's happening to you guys, but if I didn't care about you then it's pretty much a pointless ending. The third season's ending was...well the whole season was pretty silly and it didn't resolve anything because everything that was resolved was resolved much earlier...O.o;
Futakomori was amazing because of the final episode which I've seen billions of times because it is so great. It is touching and the perfect example of how an anime should end.
Death Note: An example of an anime that ends like it should. I'm very tired of watching anime of manga that is still going on because the end is never satisfying. Why make an anime of the manga if you're not going to end it properly? Well, Death Note was ended properly. On top of that it took out some parts that were in the manga which I thought was wise because that's the different between visual media and written media. Endings you read in books are longer and sum up everything, talk about the future, whatever. Endings in anime shouldn't do that because there's nothing to connect it to, it just seems redundant and the meaning is lost. They didn't do that in Death Note and it all ended perfectly.
Wow, they're all rather depressing series...'orz Most of the anime I can think of with decent endings were happy shows...or just good shows that didn't know how to end.
I would like to list Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, but since we're talking about the last episode...I didn't really like the last episode...I mean, it kept me crying for a really really long time, but if I wasn't upset that much then the next episode would just feel redundant because it was just a in memoriam episode...O.o; Why would I want to watch the next episode if nothing happens?
---
I've been trying to tackle my anime list while still working on stuffs! :D Idolling chap 2 is almost done! :D HUZZAH! Only problem, which is kinda big...'cause it requires a lot of work...is that I CAN'T DRAW GUYS! TT^TT Specifically I can't draw their arms...and I have to draw a lot of their arms in this chap.
The only thing left for me to do is draw the pages with a lot of people in them (which is several pages...guhh), ink, screen tone/speech bubbles, done~! :D The lineart part shouldn't take me long at all. Well, it should, but it's tedious and I don't need to use my head so it shouldn't be a bother to me...But the screen toning, I probably will use really basic tones or not much at all mainly because I really want to post it already and because I don't have a good way of toning the pages and if I too the time to make them how I'd like them that would probably take me leik a year...>3>
ADIOS MI AMGIOS! Here's a really catchy H!P song and dance for joo:
Upcoming Anime
Omigosh!!!!
It has Kirakishou~! Omigosh! I'M GONNA DIE! TT^TT Kirakishou's my favourite doll...ahhh...I didn't think they'd actually make an anime with Kirakishou, but they did, and I'm sooo spectacularly happy! The art style looks refreshingly like the original Peach Pit, like it should, but it looks more cleaned up than the old, which it also should. I like how it did keep with the old feel. Definitely going to watch this!
On a different note...I mean, anime...Dangan Ronpa...That's also an upcoming anime that will be released soon! It looked interesting...
But I've seen the character a billion times on pixiv...but I just recently looked up about the obese character 'cause I thought people were just being silly and making him look then. Until I saw the preview for the anime, which is of the first game...
Now I'm incredibly depressed...WAI!? WAI WOULD YOU FATTEN A CHARACTER! Make a beautiful character with lots of fangirls into an obese pathetic character....Ughh soooooo painfully depressing...
That is why I liked anime, 'cause that stuff didn't happen...;3;
Sorry, you can call me a uncaring, terrible, monster of a person, but I really feel heartbroken when people gain weight because it feels like...when a person starts smoking...like they're slowly killing themselves, but it's only worse because now they're ruining their lovely bodies' shapes! ;3;
Ughh...it hurts...I wish I never read that, now every time I see the art I'll think about how depressing that is...It's okay if you make a character fat as a joke or whatever, but don't publish it in the actual game.
Now I know that happens in real life, it's realistic, but it's also really sad. Closer to death, and not a lovely death a gross death that is hard to clean up 'cause you weigh so much.
Sorry, sorry, very heartless thing to say...but...I have to get it out of my system or I will forever grieve over it...'orz
Therefore I think it will be several years or never before I even decide to touch that series...>3>
In other other news I finished Mushishi! It was nice! Kinda wish I didn't finish it so soon, but I do want to watch other anime...
It's a very nice refreshing anime which feels so much deeper thank just the story that is being told. It's very inspirational and that music...;3;
But what I don't understand is the fangirling over Ginko. There seems to be a large fanbase for Mushishi and Ginko fangirling...which is very odd to me mainly because...I almost feel like...Well, Ginko may be the main character but aren't the mushi playing the bigger role? I mean, Ginko was just there to explain the phenomena to us, but other than that I don't think he's really that important to the story...
Ginko is a good character, but not one that I can make sense fangirling over...because he was just a guy who was open minded.
Also two things that bothered me about the whole thing...why is Ginko the only one wearing modern clothing...why is he wearing modern clothing at all? And why the opening in English when it's all very very Japanese?!
Gankutsuou made sense...sorta...not really...should'a been in French, but I guess English is okay (the Count could speak English after all! :D 'cause he was the 'Lord Willmore' that one time...ohhh, Count, joo so funneh)...
Deadman Wonderland....hrmm...I don't really see why it would be a problem having the opening in English, after all, there are many worse problems that if the opening is in English, plus this is the 21st century...*shrugs*
But Mushishi?! WAI?!
...
Since I should probably talk about this anyways...though I wasn't sure where exactly or in what fashion I should talk about them innn...hrmm...
Lemme tell you about the three movies I've watch recently and what I thought of them since these are fairly popular movies:
The Life of Pi
This was a LOVELY LOVELY movie!
Pros:
The visuals were spectacular and it was incredibly colourful and beautiful.
There were lots of animals! :D
It makes you think a LOT. And by a lot I mean not at all until the end and then you have a feeling of enlightenment.
The story telling is excellent.
Richard Parker's name...apparently there were several cases of the same Richard Parker being a victim to cannibalism or had been ship-wrecked. That's sorta interesting, doesn't really enhance your movie watching, but I thought that was cool (more to do with the book than movie).
The symbolism was beautiful, too.
Cons:
CGI isn't perfect and pretty obvious, but it doesn't really detract from the experience, though it is noticeable
Catcher Freeman
DJANGO: Unchained
(Not gonna do pros and cons on this 'cause it's hard to box into good and bad)
I guess if you get easily offended by these types of movies which are violently over the top and filled with racism (purposeful racism, you're supposed to hate those characters)...or if you're not a fan of the Boondocks (XD) then don't watch this movie.
If you want to be entertained then watch this movie.
I really liked this movie merely because they mentioned Alexandre Dumas! XD Ohohohooo, any movie that mentions him or his books gets a vote up for me (unless, of course, they mention him just to mention him and it is a stupid reference)! Christoph Waltz was incredibly awesome in this and I really really loved his character! ;w;
If anybody is familiar with The Boondocks or the Catcher Freeman episode...this is basically Catcher Freeman. Not even 'basically', it IS Catcher Freeman. There is even a character like Uncle Ruckus in it...ohhh, that's just too funny...XD
But if you're okay with those kinds of things, go ahead and watch it.
It's not meant to be taken seriously.
Skyfall
Pros:
Fun, interesting, creative characters. Catchy and lovable.
Very nice visuals.
Javier Bardem was very nice in this and I really liked his character. The character itself seemed rather flat, but Bardem gave it so much life that I felt for the guy! ;3;
Cons:
CHEESY CHEESE CHEESE ENCRUSTED PIZZA WITH CHEESY TOMATOES AND TOPPED WITH CHEESY CHEESE BALLS
Of course, stereotyping, I mean I could totes tell the guy with Scottish from the black dogs and overall character design...>3>
Impossible impossible stunts, and I mean impossible.
Pretty much followed the basic flow of any big budget Hollywood action movie, nothing particularly new
Despite the many large cons, it's still fairly enjoyable...but if you're looking for a mind blowing or memorable experience that is touching and thrilling then this isn't really the kind of movie you're looking for.
That's all kiddos~! ADIOS!
Low Productivity
Looking through my gallery...
Yo dis so sad...;3; I hardly have any art in the recent years...;3;
I feel like I've slowly gotten over my gaming bit and am now ready to actually actually work! :D
I'm sorta half way done with the idolling chapters...going very slowly...
Y'know why?
Y'KNOW WHY?!
Because the new 3DS's edges are too hard! ;3; I'll be playing some game (particularly Havest Moon 3DS because I leik mash those buttons on EVERYTHING). I never had these problems with the previous DS, I don't understand why they made the edges pointier? Is it just supposed to be for aesthetics. Practically it's not a good idea.
This was a problem for me, because then my thenar (learned a new word! :D) would get really red and sore and most likely in the beginnings of sore (but I won't let that happen! >:-) so then when I would start drawing my hand would start to cramp.
Then on top of that...I was being really stupid at the doctors...;3; They asked me where I would prefer to get my shot because my arm will be sore later and I just said the right to get it over with...So now my arm is sore...and cramping...;3; BOOO MEEEEE...So stupiddddd...
I've basically just been playing Harvest Moon...after my bit of Fire Emblem and Zero Escape, now Harvest Moon (also I was playing Pokemon a lot in between)...but I think I'm tired of them all now...'orz
Harvest Moon, I did so much...omigosh! ;3; Well...not REALLY that much, but it feels like a lot considering when I started playing I hadn't finished the first Town Restoration Plan and now I'm almost done with the 4th! O3O
But...omigodddd...Neil is sooo freaking adorable tsundere! ;3; Thank you for the tsundere Natsume! TT^TT Gray was slightly tsundere...but it just seemed more reserved and quite than tsundere...same for Marlin. Both those guys are just in need of encouragement...
Neil and Chihaya...omigosh, sooo adorable! I dunno if Chihaya is EXACTLY tsundere...but he is still hot headed and adorable! XD But Neil is pretty much definition of Tsundere. I really really love the heart event where he pretended that he wasn't playing with this puppy that he obviously was doing! XD Or whenever you ask him out for something romantic or give him something for a romantic event he denies he wants to participate in it and then is like, uhh, but I will...but not 'cause I want to, I just feel like it...>3>
XD
Sooo kyooottt! I lovezz joo Neil! Which is a problem because I usually don't like deciding on the marriage candidate until I've seen all of them...I really like Amir and Sanjay...so I want to wait until I get them...but Neil...he's already at pink heart...but luckily I haven't used the ring (although I did for kicks and giggles then went back to my original file).
I want to see everyone's reaction.
I sorta like Allen, but he's also a big butt head. I see potential in him...but ughh...he's so full of himself and how can you not like cats?! Grrr...
Rod, I feel sorry for, because he keeps talking about wanting to get a girlfriend and he's supah dupah nice, but there are no rivals in this game! ;3; WAI GAME?!
But iff there were....
Let's do some pairing taim~!
Tina - Rod
Sanjay- Witch Princess ('cause that looks like it'd be cute)
Allen - Yuri
Amir - Iroha
Soseki - Michelle
Neil - Felicity
Wao...that's all over the place...only one that makes sense is Tina and Rod...XD
That's probably why there are no rivals...But, hey, they did a good job in the other games! They could've given it a try here...;3;
Romantically Animal Parade/Tree of Tranquility was the best because...
JuliXKotomi is the cutest pairing EVARR! ;3; Oh, no, no, GilXRoomi...ahhh...too cute...I love Gil running all over the place with Roomi....XD OHohoho! JinXAnisa is okay, but I almost felt like they were related somehow 'cause they are too similar...O.o; The others were pretty straight forward...they felt like 'Who else would they be with?' And the ChihayaxMaya bothered me because I never liked Maya...Why couldn't they have made a character who wasn't associated with food like Chihaya....
Leikkk...sayyy...a Popuri-like character or Elli or Celia or somebody that brings out his inner tsundere...rather than somebody like Ann who is just funny and charming and clumsy, but still caring and responsible...BORRRANNGGGG....
I mean, how can he compete with Juli and Kotomi....a visual-kei-ish possible bisexual outgoing slightly narcissistic guy with his childhood friend who is incredibly shy and reserved who doesn't try to stand out. You have in the corner person and in the spotlight person together and they truly love eachother...How touching...;3;
Or compete with busy body A blood type (most likely) perfectionist intellectual Gil with the somewhat ditzy fun loving fashion loving adorableness of Roomi.
They're both opposites attract couples...meh favourite~! :D
That meme where you draw your favourite couples...I totes gotta do one 'o those! *3*
Okiedoke, gaiz! It's come to the end of meh rant and post and I wish share a song with joo:
I LOVE Kidori Kidori! Dat rhyming...those words are so meaningful, love that music. I also love his pronunciation and the songs are sooo catchy! ;3;
ADIOS!!
Who is Satoshi Tajiri?!
Satoshi Tajiri is the creator of pokemon~! :D
I know for sure he is this guy:
But then why are there so many google images of this guy:
How do I know that the first guy is Satoshi Tajiri because he was featured on an episode of Game Center CX in which he was interviewed about his life and how he came up with pokemon and lotsa stuff by Arino.
Evidence of his interview:
Why would Game Center CX lie to me?! ;m;
Not only that but I read an article about how Satoshi Tajiri is autistic ('cause I'm reading Temple Grandin's Thinking in Pictures and wondering why he was never mentioned...I guess this is new?) which is very surprising since I was just thinking as I watched his interview that he is a very great man and should be emulated by the masses because he is very cordial, kind, and incredibly creative. Why aren't more people autistic?! ;3; High functioning autistic?! But I guess there are pros and cons of any mental status.
'nywayyy...The article gave evidence of how you can tell from his life story that he is indeed a high-function autistic and they evidence they gave was everything that the Tajiri in the video said.
So who is the second guy that is in a bunch of weird pokemon memes as the creator of pokemon? ;3;
WAI INTERNET TO YOU HAVE TO BE SO IGNORANT! If you're gonna do memes of the guy, get it right...O.o;
OKiedoke, adios~!
