Why no read shounen?
I'm being lazy today...dunno why...ugh...no wait, I was thrown off by a youtube link...;m;

Anyways...
I don't usually read shounen manga...but...I feel that if I want to make a shounen webcomic/manga then I should read some shounen...
So do you guys have any shounen manga recommendations?
And...not anything like Bleach, Naruto, FMA, or anything...not something way popular...or Amatsuki...'cause I've already read all of them (by that I don't mean the whole series, just at least the first chapter).
I feel too lazy to work...too lazy to look for these....XD
Maybe I should look some up on my own...'orz
New Years and Resolutions
Finally got back on the computer (had to fix the internet connection though...;m;)
I really love that new comment feature! 'tis really neat! I get to see how my speech has changed over the years. Seems I never used contractions...XD Maybe I should go back to doing that...it just seems more...interesting, I guess?
Maybe it's a tad awkward, though...XD
I also seemed a bit blunt...saying stuff like 'Eh, I like it, pretty much' or something like that...not too nice sounding...but then again, I probably thought it sounded nice at the time...XD
But I'm liking the new added features.
I celebrated New Years with my cousin's girlfriend's dog on my lap...O.o; Very strange event...I felt kind of bad since I didn't now the lady too well...but the dog kept trying to sleep on me or lie on my lap...It was a corgi...how adorable...X3
My friend just reminded me at school about new years resolutions...XD Completely forgot about that...
Maybe my resolution is to be more organized, more out-going, more confident, more responsible...
I'm making an after school kind of class for myself...liike extra studying...Every night I'll try to study and take notes over Math, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Japanese History/Cultural stuffs, and Spanish.
I'd like to think of more variety of things, but my mom thinks that's a lot...
I feel bad for only studying those asian countries...the well known asian countries...but I just have more notes of them than I have of other languages...XD
For Spanish I just want to learn more grammar and verbs so I know concrete what I'm saying.
Do you guys have any resolutions for this year?
I usually forget about them...but make on up anyways...XD
Maybe I should focus my resolution on just getting things done...like meh manga...I plan to force myself to write it after school....with a pencil, though, because I thought about writing with a pen (I always write with pen in my notebooks because pencil smudges), but pen this time makes me feel anxious...;m; I might make a mistake...have to rewrite it...gahh...TT^TT

I am more hyped to draw that manga and I have been working on it a bit more...I mean...just the character designing...XD
Biggest problem I'm facing with it right now is naming everything...cool names...
Liike right now I have the 'Reapers'...and doesn't that sound stupid? They're supposed to be...law enforcers or something...If anybody is cheating in the game (the game in meh manga...which is basically the whole story...I dunno what's with me and games! XD Half my mangas seem to be about games) then they will be pretty much kicked out of the game. They're usually pretty powerful and a bit scary.
Their theme is too be all spooky like the grim reaper...which is why I gave the name 'Reapers'...but I think I'll change the theme with the name...XD If I can come up with something...
Can anybody think of what you'd call somebody who enforces the law beside the police...that doesn't particularly point to what their job really is...?
I guess I'll just show you my character designs for characters...
Actually, what I've been doing for these characters is use tinierme models to get the gist of how they're supposed to look. A lot of them don't have the same hairstyle or clothes or colours, but the kinda have the same feel:
Some of these I might not even keep...XD
1. Is one of the reapers...he's supposed to be a young guy buy everyone calls him 'old man' just 'cause he's older than the majority of the characters...XD He's weird...basically he was created as the glasses guy that I wouldn't be afraid of (rockstar glasses guy)
2. I'll definitely keep her, but she looks completely different from this tinierme model...XD She has a toy dinosaur which she can make actual size and use as a weapon. She's supposed to be the elegant lady...which contrasts her destructive dinosaur.
3. Dunno about this guy...which is why there are question marks everywhere...he looks like some guy from a shoujo manga. I just wanted a character with a hat...XD
4. Another keeper. She's supposed to be liike a super girl since she's really pretty, really popular, and pretteh nice, but she's also very much anti-social in reality. Not in the timid sense, but more the kind of 'I hate the world'. She spends most of her time in the infirmary, even thought there's nothing wrong with her. She pretends that she's sick just so she doesn't have to do anything.
5. I'm not sure if I want to make him that last girl's boyfriend or not...O.o; I thought about it, but since he's an origami boy he probably wouldn't fit with the whole protective boyfriend idea...O.o; Maybe he's just really romantic...
6. I made this for the kind of boy who looks like a woman, and is easily mistaken as a woman, but really wants to be very manly.
7. Another keeper (I'm keeping a lot of girls 'cause I have too many male characters...I have lots of characters besides these that I have already drawn before). She likes food...a lot...She is liiike the tea party girl...y'know how you have to dress up for tea parties and you can eat a bunch of snacks with your food? That's her inspiration. That and I wanted a really cute girl character who wears poofy dresses...XD
8. RANDOM GIRL! All I did on this one was think...how could I made and athletic looking, random girl, have glasses and look good? So that's what I did here. Trying to mix up the glasses thing 'cause a lot of kids at my school who have glasses totally do not fit into the 'serious' or 'avid reader' kind of generalization...they just happen to have bad eye sight.
9. Tomboy girl with pigtails. I just wanted a cool girl...with pigtails...why not have both?
10. I'm not sure...I just thought if I had a completely orange character they'd be more fun to colour...XD
11. Another person who was random! I was trying to think of what the package delivery man for the game would look like...and I accidentally came up with this guy. I see him being a wise and polite man wearing a bag over his head. Why?...ummm...O.o;
12. I wanted an oriental character...and somebody with long hair ('cause girls like guys with long hair...apparently...O.o;)...and that's basically it...XD
13. It's that guy from 9mm Parabellum Bullet....No seriously it is:
Felt like making a tribute character....I have a lot of tribute characters...XD
14. Bunny girl! Just felt the need to create a bunny girl...
15. This character is based off of one of my friends. He had a unique look...tan skin with dirty blonde curly hair...O.o; (Not curly in this pic, but as I said above, most of these don't look exactly like how they're supposed to, but this is just what they'd feel like as a character). He had this fighting/sparring style where he'd snake his arms around and hit you hard with the tips of his fingers...it was a very annoying move...but it made me think that since each of the members of our kenpo team had differet styles we'd all be good in a video game...XD
...Actually...that makes me want to make a fake character select of my old kenpo team...but I can't really remember everyone's styles...like my brother's...O.o;
I do remember one of my friends was really tiny so she did really fast punches, but when she got hit it took a lot out of her...Same was for me, except I did more dodging than attacking...
*sigh*...sparring was so fun...;w;

For Xmas this year I got a lot of Samurai-related stuff!
I got Takehiko Inoue's (he did Vagabond) Mizu artbook which is DELICIOUS~! He's crazy good...he just paints right onto the page...;m;
I also got Samura Hiroaki's Blade of the Immortal artbook~! <333
Then ON TOP OF THAT! I got Hikaru Genji: Dawn of the Samurai, which my brother says is pretteh bad, but I don't really care. I wanted some games for my PS2 that weren't like most games in that they were medieval fantasy or took place in a very random world...
I also got Persona 3: FES (still don't know what the FES stands for...O.o;) which has nothing do to with samurais, but it's still awesome. I thought my mom wasn't going to get me it! ;m;
I also got some money (but not enough! Although, I forget my birthday's in a couple of weeks). I have to spend it quickly because my mom gave it an expiration date of January 15th...;m; I'll spend it on Anime Convention stuff and Cosplay stuff...
My brother beat Zelda Skyward Sword. I must say, the final boss looks EXACTLY like Akuma from Street Fighter orrr Zodd from Berserk.
Yepp...well, that was my Xmas.
