I had been kinda...not myself? I felt blank or negative...
Because I had been looking at all this college stuff and all this 'masterpiece' art...There really is a certain feeling from most of the major artists' that I don't like...it makes me feel uncomfortable and gives me day nightmares...O.o;
I want to do art that makes people happy or feel comfortable or fiery...something inspiring in a positive way rather than uber symbolic.
Symbolism kills me. It really does. I don't like it, but everyone seems to like it so much. I think it's been wayy too over done and I don't seem to ever be touched by the symbolism. I mean, it's cool if the picture has another meaning, I guess, but I really don't care.
I'm unfortunately not a very deep person...I say it's my genes because nobody in my family was ever that big on poetry. But I see people at school (or at least hear about them) crying to even silly parodied songs...like some song from South Park that was making fun of country songs or something made this one girl cry because it touched her so much...What? I don't get it.
Sometimes poems or stories get me into them, but I'm disappointed to find out that these were the ones with more obvious reasons...;m;
Oh, sorry, went off track there. My point was to say that I don't like this artistic mood...>3> I want to be happy! So all I've been doing all weekend is watch different kpop celebrities on their personal shows...
So now I REALLY like Boyfriend! <333 XD My favourite member is Kwangmin, but I feel bad for him. I kinda pisses me off because the camera man just seems to ignore him. They keep talking about Kwangmin, but you never see him because the cameraman is on the people who are talking about him or to him. >3> The members even said he didn't seem to have much of a presence.
Kwangmin is like the moon and Youngmin is like the sun. Youngmin is fiery and stands out while Kwangmin is quiet and reserved. My friends who are twins are like that. I can't remember who is the oldest from my friends...if my closest friend of the twins is the oldest it might show that the eldest twin is the more reserved twin...XD
It seems like the members of Boyfriend cry a lot, too. Nothing wrong about that! XD I think it makes them a bit more lovable, I guess.
Some people are put off my crying...I don't know why...Crying is an important human function, it shows an emotion like a smile does. It's like being disgusted by a smile...O.o;
Minwoo seems to be the most popular member. I'd like to see when he grows up because I imagine him becoming much of a 'sexy' member like how I imagine Kenta (my OC) to grow up as. Though, Kenta isn't exactly as outgoing as Minwoo...XD Kenta's like Youngmin.

This Jungmin/Jeongmin. I think he is the best looking member. I remember in the MV the first time I watched it he kept catching my eye (well, actually so did the twins and Minwoo...but Jungmin more than the older members). Also I LOVE his personality. I need to make a character like him...;w;
This is Hyunseong who also didn't get much camera attention like Kwangmin. He caught my eye the most in the dance rehearsal. In fact, I was paying attention to him the most...just like how you'd usually make a designated person to focus on when watching a dance, I focused on Hyunseong. Minwoo's also a good dancer. Actually, they're all great dancers...O.O
And this is the leader Donghyun. He also has a fun personality. I think it could get annoying at times, but he's mostly just a jokester. He reminds me of Heechul:

15. Are they based on a real person? They're based on a mixture of people. Liiike Ryutaro Morimoto (from Hey! Say! Jump) and for some reason Airi Suzuki (from C-ute), and a bit of Gongchan (from B1A4). Just whomever I think is cute and has that Kenta sunshine, I guess...XD
16. Or another character? Nope. He's a celeb. I base my celebs off celebs.
17. Do they go to school? Kinda. He gets privately tutored occasionally (due the begging of his parents for him to be schooled even in the group)

The fact that when I came up with his character I was watching a bunch of different videos of celebs crying....O.o; So I guess he's supposed to be a crybaby, but he does get stronger. (Some days I'm enjoyed by celebs crying....dunno why)

53. What’s one of their weaknesses? He can get very emotional when under pressure and has trouble controlling his emotions. He's naive.

61. Describe their past: Group up in a normal suburban family with strict, but loving parents. When he was 14 he tried out for the auditions for MaxP in Japan for where he lived and got to the finals and now is in MaxP all because of his beautiful and touching voice (it'll change a bit, but I think for the better).
62. How was their family life? Normal, as said above. He really loves his siblings and respects his parents. He was given a lot of morals from them. But because of how strict his parents were he became very naive and kind of regrets that part.
63. Are they happy now? Why? Despite his low self esteem, he actually is because he knows that the people in MaxP can support him and he'll grow out of it. (Not that he has any best friends...the poor guy! ;m;)
64. Do you like them? I didn't at first. I thought he was annoying and too clingy, but then I realized that he's just really young and will grow out of it, so I look forward to that transition.
65. Would you get along with them if you met them in real life? Probably. I know some kids like him. I mean, I GUESS I'd get along with him. I'm the type of person to tease or criticize people out of love...O.o;
66. Would they like you? Probably. I'm not in his category of kinds of people to dislike.

It was such a long time ago. It was probably when all of us from MaxP met for the first time as a group, but I feels so much longer than that.

So many things!! Do I have to choose!? TT^TT She's cute and beautiful and sexy and cool and sweet and nice and smart and talented...*goes on and on*

She's kinda dense! ;m; How can she not tell that I like her!? I mean, no, no, that's a good thing she shouldn't know that! She better not know that! >:0 But sometimes she makes bad decisions that hurts her, she's too nice to everyone. I think I dislike that she's so likable.

Now to just say something that I've been meaning to say, but every time I tried to post I found something else to do or I had to go do something else....;m;
I've been fairly busy. Not really with homework (though that IS sometimes time consuming) it's more that work I've been giving myself preparing for college and tests and stuffs...even though I'm not even a Senior yet...;m;
I keep getting into arguments with my mom every time I talk about college. It's mostly because I don't want to do Fine Arts or Graphic Design. I just want to do the in-between...if that makes sense. My main focus is on Illustration. But I don't know what Illustration classifies as because some colleges I've looked at had Illustration more on the Graphic Design side (which I want) and then Illustration more on the Fine Arts side (which I DON'T want). It's confusing talking about it since every college seems to call the same program different stuff..;m;
I DO have a list. Luckily I found a college that my mom and I agree on. It's VCU (Virginia Commonwealth University). That's where my mom when to school and it apparently has the third best illustration class in the nation. It's also in the city where I was born~! So I wouldn't mind going back to Virginia...except that my mom reminded me that I'd probably be getting lots of visits from my grandparents (who are racist and unbelievable)...I don't want any visits from family members! ;m; Leave me be!
We're going to Virginia in October and my mom said I could look at colleges then.

Another bit of news! My mom bought me my tablet even though I haven't painted enough doors yet! But I'm definitely getting to work on them! I'm trying to figure out what doors I can do, though, because my dad has to take off the blinds of some.
Also...why is art so hard to talk about? It seems like art is so controversial. Then again, most artistic forms are probably controversial. I just feel it's harder to talk about art openly because people have their biases.
BUT! The world is bright! :D I never knew such happy, clean, nice art could exist (in the art world, it art exists as 'anime')...but it DOES:

My mom told me to read this book she got from the library about famous American illustrators and it had a whole world of art I had only glimpsed! IT'S THE HAPPY ART~! <333 Or what, I just call happy art.
The stuff in magazines and ads and books that are always so inspirational and have such a beautiful style.
I had become more anxious about art as I looked at the very famous painters that everyone regards as the best artists and noticing that I don't really like a lot of them...that they were all so dark and unhappy, not neutral or anything...I kept thinking 'if this is what true art is, then I don't feel like I can be an artist,' because I don't want to draw dark and unhappy things. Maybe it's just religion. *shrugs* (No offense.)
I also didn't think much of American art. I thought it was either all Indians and Cowboys, boring plains, or like the cartoon-y stuff nowadays. But I COMPLETELY forgot about the early '90's! O.O

Which I'm sorry, but I really don't like it. It's just the way they draw everything...I guess I feel like what others feel about anime...I just don't like the style. But it most certainly is art. I've seen some with very inspirational drawings, but the majority of it just looks plain to me...Don't think anything's wrong with it, it's just boring to me.
I guess that's also how others feel about the things I like! XD Like that I'm not a total fan of comic plots, just like others are not total fans of manga plots...or they way they're carried out.

The artist is Jean Gabriel Domergue. I just love his style and it really inspires my own style, so whenever I see his pictures I feel I'm a bit closer to coming up with my own style! XD I think it's the head shape.
Now a bit of a rant time...
Today in my history class I've learned that the majority of the kids in that class hate France. Which REALLY pisses me off. Their reason is because France is 'whimpy' because America had to help them a TAD in SOME wars (apparently) and that France didn't fight some wars...and y'know why? Because they were smart and more peaceful than the war loving America. Doesn't that really tell you something about America? That we're so war loving that we think anybody who doesn't love wars as much as we do are weak.
I hate intolerance when it comes to other countries...No, I just hate intolerance period. You should not be allowed to hate any country unless you've live there for about 10 years...maybe 5 years...
You cannot judge a man unless you've walked a thousand miles in his shoes! Which is definitely true with countries.
We're all citizens of the world. We're all one big family so we should love eachother. We're all in this together! ('this' meaning life)

When I was little I just thought that was a drug, not an actual word, so I looked down on it greatly...if a song said something about 'being in ecstasy' I would complain...XD
Anyways...I'm REALLY REALLY REALLY happy/overcome with joy.
I found some 'o meh discs from long ago...but come to think of it...I just realized I'm missing, two, but I at least I found the two that I really wanted.
I found NGE OST II, the other one is missing, unfortunately, but the better thing of the situation is that OST II has this song on it:
Probably my very song from NGE next to Komm Susser Tod.
The other disc I was very happy about finding is my very very very old and long forgotten X: 1999 OST. I've never even seen that movie, but HOLY CRAP the OST brings back so many memories and I also remember that EVERY SONG IS TOTALLEH AWESOME. There are liiike 1 or 2 not entirely interesting songs, but that's nothing compared to some other OCs I've listened to...*cough* Ghost in the Shell *cough* Ghost in the Shell has SOOO many OSTs and random songs that don't seem to go together...or that I wouldn't really want to listen to, but I did because it was on the album...
Shiki's OST does good and so does Macross Plus's OST...but Jigoku Shoujo has a lot of repetitive songs and a lot of songs that I can't believe were even in the anime, or that I don't think should have been in the anime...

Yup, yup, not very many CDs. I'm also supposed to have two Sailor Moon CDs (American), another NGE CD, and a Sailor Moon Best CD (Japanese)...
But the greatest thing about finding these is that THEY'RE CDS! And music CDs usually have the highest quality music~! I could really tell when I listened to Pandora's version of BoA's Did Ya and then listening to it on the actual CD.
I also have random CDs of stuff I downloaded from random sites on the internet a very long time ago...O.o; So they're not very good quality and some might even be midis...XD The only music I listened to that wasn't on the AOL radio I was listening to were midi versions of songs...XD I thought .mp3's were bad things...
Ahh, sweet nostalgia...<333 I remember drawing a bunch of stuff while listening to the X OST...*.*
My parents let me have this big desk that I'm using~! :D Before, it was my brothers, but now it's mine! >:D MUAHAHAAHAAAHH! I'm going to organize everything...someday...

I've been doing coloured sketches lately. They look funkay...XD I guess I'll show you instead of describing them:
I thought they looked better at an angle so I took a picture at a different angle. I actually drew them all at an angle, so they look how they're supposed to at a certain angle (which is hard to capture with a camera).
They're all from pictures from DA that were in my favourites. I tried doing a dollfie, but she ended up looking like a Disney Princess...O.o;
Oh, but the two in the top right corner are of hands, the biggest on is of mine, the other one is of Daichi Miura's...just because...XD
I didn't have a black coloured pencil so I just used a regular pencil...XD Which is why Nheira (yes, that one in the middle with purple and red is Nheira) is purple...O.o; I covered up his mouth because I drew the rest of his face wrong...'orz
I'll do some more...I'm obviously practicing colours, but I'm also practicing how to lay down those colours...the use of colours? And the way I use my medium, which are coloured pencils.
I tried drawing in a new style...but it looked like an American comic style...;m; I don't want that! TT^TT NUUU! So it looked very ugly...back to the drawing board...'orz

Ever since I saw Every Little Thing's music video for 'Nostalgia', which did not give me any sort of Nostalgia, but instead gave me a future-y feel, I've been looking for videos and thinking of ways to make a Nostalgic music video, even if it's brand new. So I'm amazed to come across something that did it! O.O
I've been in a very nostalgic mood...singing old H!P songs and old Goto Maki songs...*sigh* I miss the old days...which at the time weren't old...XD
I've now learned how to sing! :D Before I would sing too quietly or something, it just sounds bad or awkward, and now I suddenly am able to sing...O.o; I can go as low as Niigaki Risa or as high as Hatsune Miku (actually higher, but I think that'd be very annoying).
Oh! I also can smile like Elijah Wood, Maki Goto, and Natalie Portman...O.O I've never done impressions before, I didn't know I could do them until now...well, actually, I've known I can do the Elijah Wood smile...this one:
I might be able to do a Daniel Radcliff smile...but I forget what that looks like...O.o; I dunno why these impression abilities are so random! XD I didn't know I could do Natalie Portman, but I was trying to do a Sandeul smile and turned out looking like Natalie Portman's (because I don't have big lips like Sandeul)...obviously I didn't do a good job if...XD
Sooo...yeahh...singing and impressions are fun! :D
I'll go organize stuff and draw some stuff...*is actually excited*
