It's been a bad luck year so far...My grandmother dies, we get mice at our house, my teacher breaks his back (from falling of his porch! XD), my friend's brother dies (also student at my school so there are memorials and stuff around the school), and my school's principal is fired...There was more, but I can't remember them right now...

Well, I don't seem to be really depressed at all about this. I'm actually...fine with it all...Because I'm kinda doing other things on here, then anime convention...I'm going to that...so there are still happy things, just too many times have I seen somebody crying...>.> (Well, nobody's cried about the mice or my teacher...soo...XD)
Oh! My friend and I are trying to make an Anime Club for next year. I'm sure there are a TON of people who like anime and manga enough to join, the only problem is that all these people are in BAND! TT^TT And they don't have time for most clubs...>.>
Well, does anybody have any ideas or is anybody in an anime club who is willing to tell me what you guys do there? I want it too be organized so it won't be ignored as a club! TT^TT
They have a Guitar Hero Club at my school, so I think an Anime Club could be possible.
My ideas so far would to be to create a HUUUGE list of anime shows to watch and watch the first episode of two different anime shows per meeting and then afterward talk about what we thought of them...
But I found some other ideas while looking up club ideas on google...liiike a manga book reading day...Sounds kinda good...
My only problem is choosing stuff that other people would like...I have a school with a bunch of stubborn people...Who stick to their beliefs and no other. If they think something's 'lame' then they completely ignore it or go against it...>.>
I was thinking in the first meeting we could cover the basic terms for manga and anime since most kids at my school who like anime and manga have no clue about the terms. Terms like demographics and stuff and what we mean when we say yaoi or tsundere...stuff like that. Weeaboo terms...*nod* *nod* XD More like otaku terms. Oh! They need to know what otaku is!
I do NOT live in a diverse area AT ALL...of course we have the occasional people from a few other countries...but it's not like the other kids accept them completely or their culture...it's all America this and America that...>.> Ignorant fools...>:(
But I'll have to learn to get along with them. I have learned to keep my mouth shut or try saying things more clearer...TT^TT Ug! I shouldn't have to do that, mon!
See, if we did stuff like go to restaurants, learn dances, create cosplays, I don't think half the people in there would want to do that...Maybe go to restaurants...Maybe I can organize a schedule thing...
We could learn Japanese, learn how to draw manga, learn about different cultural aspects of Japan, and listen to several different bands...>.> Something like that...but how could I organize that? TT^TT
Maybe we could organize trips to anime conventions on Friday Nights or something...except we live in an area where there isn't much in our reach to go to...Hrmmm...I have to find a way to organize this well, the organization where I live is TERRIBLE! We don't know when or where to go...Ughhh...so terrible...
Maybe we could get everyone's phone numbers...hrmmm...I should go write this stuff down...
We also need a teacher, but I'm afraid all the cool and good ones are busy! TT^TT And I don't know any teacher who likes anime...>.> Except my math teacher at the middle school, but she doesn't teach at the High School...but heard we're getting new teachers so maybe they're cool! But I shouldn't get my hopes up...
In other news...XD I've decided to save up my money for a tablet. But I'm not sure which one to get. I can afford an Intuos4 Graphics Tablet Small...but I dunno how small small is...O.o And a Wacom Bamboo Fun Gaphics Tablet Medium....BUUUT...I want an Intuos4 Graphics Tablet Medium, but I can't afford that one...>.> Any recommendations on which ones to get?
My tablet isn't pressure sensitive (explains the crappy bulky lines on all my pictures) and my nib is running low (which I can always buy another pen, but I don't like my tablet very much) and my tablet board part is all scratched up and the ermmmm...well the part that is like a cover is coming off because it was poorly glued on...TT^TT
