OMIGOSH!! THE ANIME CONVENTION WAS AWESOME!! <333
I went with my friend and her mom. So that was interesting, her mom is really funny! XD But her mom is young and she looks like a model, same for my friend...I felt left out there...O.o
Welll...we went to the Q&A of Quaff, the visual kei band, and we sat in the front row. And THEY WERE STARING AT US THE ENTIRE TIME! And we all thought it was weird, her mom even said that she was glad that we noticed that, too, she thought she was losing her mind or something! XD It was REALLY weird...O.o I wonder if they were staring at her mom. Her mom thought they were staring at her being she was staring at 'the blonde one' whom I don't know his name...O.o She liked them so much she bought a photobook of them! XD I was SOOOOO close to one of them...not during the Q&A, but at that place where she bought the photobook, one of them was just standing there....and I wanted to take a picture, but we weren't allowed to.
They were HILARIOUS, though! XD There was this one guy wear a mask thing over his mouth and he had the deepest voice in the group and he was just too funny! Like when somebody asked what their favourite food was they all said something plain but he put two thumbs up and yelled 'CHEESECAKE!!" It was soo funny! XD And he would just start yelling random things out, it was too funny! XD Especially a guy with such a deep voice! And then they all tried to pronounce 'squirrel' and only three of them did, well, actually let's just say two since one of them could speak english and the whole point was that he was trying to teach them to pronounce squirrel and manhattan right...And every time somebody in the band said the word right everyone cheered, so when they didn't say it right they got really confused! XD
That whole Q&A just plays through my head constantly! One of the most favourite moments of my life! ^ ^ Until I see the Q&A for a better band...or a band I'm already a fan of...
Oh....Quaff also might have been staring at us because we were three skinny little people and two HUMONGOUS people sitting on each side and it just looks really weird! XD Also! The guy with the mask said that he looked forward to America so he could bring back a pretty girl to be his wife! XD It sounds like a familiar story! XD
Oh! Another staring story to tell you guys. I was standing in line with my friend...and there were these kids in front of us in a group...and I'm guessing the oldest one (the only one with acne...O.o) kept staring at me...O.o And then he started to talk to us saying that his friends were boring...Excuse me kid, but WE'RE STRANGERS! DO NOT TALK TO STRANGERS, KID! I guess the kid thought I was his age since I was the same height...>.>
My friend and I got these carbonated fruit drink things, and they were AWESOME!! They tasted great and they bottles looked AWESOME! They were designed almost perfectly, to the point if you draw it on it's side it will not spill, unless you turn it completely straight down. And it had hand grips and everything. And it had this preservation marble thing so it would preserve the drink and when you popped it steam (no...it's something else, like a cloud of fizz or something...) came out it was cool!
I bought another volume of God Child and commissioned two people, one whom has a DA account, so now I'm watching them, because I LOVE her style so much! It's soo cute! But she doesn't have enough art posted...>.>
I ALMOST bought a Morning Musume CD signed by all of them, which was only $20...but the one next to it was $100....so I got confused so I didn't buy it...O.o I don't need a Morning Musume CD...now...AAA, yes, definitely.
Oh! And I met Vic Mignogna (sp?) and learned how to say his name...kinda...O.o And he's my friend's favourite voice actor...But I didn't have him sign anything, just a picture...but I don't know if I'll ever get that picture...O.o So he hugged me and my friend in the picture....Only problem here is I'VE NEVER HEARD HIM VOICE ACT! I mean, I've seen SOME episodes of FMA....but...the strange thing is that I've not actually seen an episode where Ed talks...O.o Sooo...Yeah, I can't be his fan if I haven't heard his work.
What else happened?...Hrmm...I dunno, but I loved that Quaff Q&A so much! <333 AWESOME!!
