I think I knew more about Jpop than the panel people...
Well, at the anime convention while we were waiting for the Quaff Q&A we asked my friend's mom to save us some seats, and we went exploring, then when we came back we saw a few of the last panel. It was something about learning more about Jpop.
Well, there was some singer on there that I recognized, then I realized that it was Yousei Teikoku, because I couldn't understand what the guy was saying, and I just figured it out myself. She sung one of the songs that I used to like called Wahrheit.
Then after that as soon as I heard the beginning I yelled 'Oooh! Capsule'...while I was thinking it was perfume, that the next song was from. It was Sugarless Girl, the video that they were showing. Then after that the guy was like 'Has anybody heard of capsule?' And I was the first to raise my hand confidently...actually, the only one to raise my hand confidently, everyone else slowly and shyly raised their hands. And then the guy asked 'Where were they from? Was it Nagoya-kei?'
And I'm sitting there like...'WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?' but then I thought he must know more about this then I do so he must be meaning that they were somehow Nagoya-kei before they became Shibuya-kei...but then he kept calling Nagoya-kei a place...and then I got even more confused...and then I just wanted to yell out 'THEY ARE SHIBUYA-KEI! SHI-BU-YAA!!' But I didn't...
He also called Yousei Teikoku the name of the singer, when it's actually a duo between the singer, Yui Itsuki, and Takaha Ichibana (which it turns out he worked with Kukui before, which is with Haruka Shimotsuki from Sound Horizon...O.o).
Wow, I'm surprised by all my knowledge...I guess it's true that I've probably heard of almost every jpop singer...Now, jrock is a different thing...I'm still getting into that...
If only I stayed there longer I would probably recognize almost all of the singers being shown that are somewhat jpop sounding...O.o What if they even had Kra on there!? *n* I wish I stayed for that...>.> I didn't know what it was...
