Anybody else notice the huge wave of new members? It's all because they want to enter the NYAF contest...
But that I kinda makes me mad/sad...Because I HOPE they don't leave once the winners are announced, because that's just cheap! >:( If you're joining be sure TO STAY ON THE WEBSITE! I don't want to see all these new artists leaving suddenly...that'd just make me REALLY mad...
Well, I'm not joining the NYAF contest for that reason...and several others...Well, I can't think of anything, the fact that it's in OCTOBER just threw me off. Yeah, I know I can make it all Halloween-ish, but I really don't want to do that...>.> And my original idea doesn't sound as fantastic. It would've been a gothic lolita girl with a ton of accessories of anime characters and things that have to do with New York. Because when I went to MTAC I noticed a TON of gothic lolita or other people in fashion, or as their own characters. I thought that was really cool so I was hoping for this contest to come uuuppp...But I IT DOESN'T TAKE PLACE IN THE SUMMER OR SPRING! TT^TT
I've got nothing...>.> I could change the colours to make it halloween-ish...but the whole 'Fall' thing just completely throws me off...I could've also made a rave girl (there were a lot of people like there...or just that my friend who loves that kind of fashion kept noticing them and telling me).
Yeah, MTAC isn't NYAF...but I expect most people wear the same kind of costumes wherever you go. There's always going to be Narutos and always going to be that one person who dresses in their own style or character or something...
Fall and Winter are two times that I'd HATE to have an anime convention...so making the mascot happy...or anime-ish...will not help, at all. Summer is the time for anime style, Fall is the time for realism, Winter is the time for REALLY detailed semi-realism, and Spring is the time for simple semi-realism...That's how I see it in my head...>.>
The other reason is because I like everyone else's ideas better than mine! XD So I don't want to enter this year...but I might...And another reason is that I need to be a better artist or else entering it I will feel embarrassed (I enter the other challenges because...well, they're usually not gonna happen again and they're not that big and they're pretty loose).
And about writing some manga for theO (or MB)...I want to do my manga COSPLAY WARS...but they way it starts...is very hard to draw! XD
So I'm thinking of working really hard on a one shot...but I don't like any of my ideas (and I feel like doing a shoujo manga...and only one of my ideas is a shoujo manga).
Well...time ta go figure something out...>.>
