Super Junior *shakes head*. They makes some CATCHY songs. I can't stop listening to it, nor can I get it out of my head. I'll be going to school tomorrow chanting 'bonamana' over and over in my head or even out loud. I wonder if they'd ask what's wrong with me if I did that! XD
Super Junior and Lee Jung Hyun are some of the FEW that I respect in Kpop. I don't really like Kpop at all (if you can tell my many complaints) and I don't like American music at all. I've finally realized why I dislike them or I felt a strange dislike of Kpop. It's not the rapping or the style of dancing or bad quality or anything...it's the fact that THEY ALL LOOK THE SAME! I don't mean by features or anything, they look really different by those means...but they all have the same body type. Go look at SNSD, you can see that they all have the same body type! It's so weird...O.o
So I'm guessing these groups don't get popular if they don't have a certain body type. For the girls they're all voluptuous, some more than others, and for the men they're all muscular or semi-muscular and tall, but not too big or anything. Like an average muscular size.
But then you look at Lee Jung Hyun, she's not very voluptuous, and then Super Junior, they don't all look the same. There are some thin ones, some muscular ones, it's a variety. The fact that everybody has to be the same to do well makes me angry and that's why I don't like Kpop because the sales and audiences are too strict.
For America...well...I have yet to see a good looking man...at all...Most of the bands either don't take care of their looks enough, don't seem to try to look different (try a freaking INTERESTING fashion style for once). When they DO try to look different...they look really crazy and ugly and I would feel embarrassed to be watching one of their concerts. Like Lady Gaga. Then the people who DO look nice are stupid, bad singers, or end up doing something really stupid with drugs. There's another thing WHY DOES IT SEEM LIKE EVERY AMERICAN MUSICIAN IS DOING SOME KIND OF DRUG!? The only stuff I've heard from Japan (that's in the jpop genre) are stuff about drinking or smoking underage. So why is there such a big drug problem in America?
Well, then about American music...All of the pop music sounds the same to me...same for the ballads...and then the singers of pop all look the same to me, unless you're comparing JZ to Justin Beiber, of course they look different...but if there was another person their age and height they would look the same.
I can admit that there are SOME people who are interesting, have good music, but right now all the popular music just seems to be senseless rap about either love, abuse, sex, or something really boring and generic for American music.
The reason why I don't listen to any American music is mostly because I dislike the American accent when singing. Unless they somehow have a New York accent when they're singing, it's not interesting at all or good sounding.
Now...European music...A HUGE variety. Their clothes look different, but not too crazy, their accents if they're singing in English are really nice (and add to the singing style whatever their style is). So English doesn't annoy me, it's the accent (I HATE country accents, and the worst thing about that is that I live in the SOUTH where only few can speak proper English without a really thick country accent).
With all my criticisms of accents and the fact that I live in the South, you're probably wondering what kind of accent I have. It's American...but it's really weird...like some words I have a New York accent...but I've never lived in New York. And I think because of all the Japanese stuff I've been watching I can't pronounce my J's like everyone else...like I have a friend named Jojo and I keep saying his name like Zho-Zho...like a soft Sh sound. It's very weird...O.o When I say Japan I say Zhapahn...O.o
I've asked people what kind of accent I have, and they said they're not at all sure since it sounds like a mix of random accents...O.o
My friend says that she has a Northern accent even though its OBVIOUSLY country, she probably has the thickest country accent of anybody I've ever met. She said she lived in New York for a year and so now she has a Northern accent...SHE DOES NOT HAVE A NORTHERN ACCENT AT ALL. And if you tell her that she'll argue with her...so I asked several of my friends who knew her well if she has a northern accent and they were like 'No way! Definitely not!'...So I don't think she has one at all! XD
Ermm...well, I'm pretty bad at staying on topic! XD I was originally posting this to say that I'm probably going to get more into Super Junior in the future.
Ah! I just remembered! TVXQ/DBSK is under Avex...as well as the majority of my favourite singers (Alan, Maki Goto, AAA, Aural Vampire, Ai Otsuka, misono, globe, Every Little Thing, Acid Black Cherry, BoA, Daichi Miura, Gackt (WHEN!?), Jurian Beat Crisis, Ataru Nakamura, Tackey & Tsubasa, V6,....And Super Junior, also).
Okay, well...it seems that EVERYONE is under the Avex Label..no I'm exaggerating, but would like me to put down a list of the famous people in Avex?:
Amuro Namie
BoA
Back-On
Cyndi Wang
D
Do as Infinity
Every Little Thing
Exile
Gackt
Ayumi Hamasaki
hitomi
Janne Da Arc
Jonas Brothers
Koda Kumi
Miley Cyrus
misono
M-Flo
M.O.V.E.
O-Zone (Y'know Dragostea Din Tei? Numa Numa? )
Ai Otsuka
the Pillows
Selena Gomez
Super Junior
Ami Suzuki
TRF
Tackey & Tsubasa
Anna Tsuchiya
V6
TVXQ
Now...there are several famous American singers on there and you must be wondering why they're under Avex...well, I'm guessing that's because they'll probably be touring in Japan and need a label or something for that...I don't really know, but I hate it.
*laughs* Just watched the 'controversial' Miley Cyrus performance:
Okay, if it weren't at the KIDS' choice awards, I wouldn't care, nor would anybody else. BUT, it IS the Kids' Choice Awards, meaning there are KIDS there. Why the HECK is she wearing such short shorts (and no socks? XD)!? Her voice is REALLY annoying, too. Anybody can sing that song, I mean, it's not badly toned or anything (at least it's better than Taylor Swift), but it's REALLY annoying sounding, worse than Ayumi Hamasaki's. Except Ayumi Hamasaki's voice is actually really beautiful if you get past the annoying nasally sounds.
Then WHY IS THERE ARE POLE? I understand she has to be careful and hang onto something...but...why some random pole out of nowhere? And if I were in her situation I WOULDN'T BEND DOWN AROUND IT LIKE I'M POLE DANCING! I be using it to twirl around or like a buddy (you me buddy pole! Like hug! <333) but not what she did. Her dancing is too sexual, I've seen other dancing on stage (well, tons more, *cough* Morning Musume *cough*) that wasn't sexual. So there can be no excuse for 'how else could I dance without moving my hips?' Simple, you move your arms and jump up and down and wear cute clothes.
WHY ARE THERE NO CUTE AMERICAN SINGERS? Closest thing is Taylor Swift, but she's not at all a good singer, and I just don't like her, so she's ruled out. I'd like to see a singer go on stage in a poofy pink dress (that's a girl...O.o) and dancing all cutely in America. It's all such sexual brown stuff...American music reminds me of brown, dark green, and gold, stuff that you'd see in a run down hotel. Like brown and green looking...um dirty, and then gold because of the lighting. Well, I don't want to sleep in a run down dirty town.
Oooh! Speaking of music colours! XD
Kpop reminds me of silver and bright yellow with neon blue and pink AND lots of black, because it reminds me of dark, serious, but still pretty crazy music.
Jpop reminds me of baby blue, baby pink, yellow, white, cotton candy pink, red, gold, annnd some yellowish orange. It reminds me of sweet and calm things, and the ones that are hyper remind me of yellow bright things, and the ones that are dark and sad remind me of gold and blue with some white...like sadness...
Europop reminds me of orange, blue, tan, white, red, and gold because the music is very different from singer to singer and Europop reminds me of sunset skies and clean cities (Jpop reminds me of clear, pale skies, similar to europop).
Jrock reminds me of brown, gold, dark red, black, and peach because it seems very earthy to me and reminds me of sitting outside with a guitar or in a dark church (depending on if it's peaceful Jrock or visual kei).
Can't think of any other genres I listen to or are familiar with....O.o
Wow...this was a rather long post...O.o
Well, the point is that I'd like to listen to more Super Junior...and I like that song...Annnd...I still don't like Kpop, but I do respect some singers and I like some of the songs because they're catchy, and it's at least better than American music.
I was going to draw the 'new' version of Kiyoshi today...but I couldn't think of a pose. Did I already tell you guys about the new Kiyoshi or did I just tell my friend? Well, I was originally going to draw a picture of Kiyoshi, Hiroyuki, and the new character which is Kiyoshi's rival, and Kiyoshi is supposed to be shorter than all of them, and has a thin face, and I added in all this stuff that I liked in a man and that others seemed to like...but I ended up with a failure...It's like cooking something...like if you like chicken and chocolate...it's not gonna end up tasting good together, but it sounds like it might be good together.
So I'm going to either make Kiyoshi the same look (probably not) just much taller, or completely re-design him...
I need to do some polling...to see what kind of guys girls like...Going on what I THINK people like isn't working...>.>
So if you've read through this WHOLE LOOOONG post then props to you...but now I have to ask you a favor. What kind of guys to you like (if you're a girl or a gay male...O.o)? Like what would they look like (I don't want the personality, I already have Kiyoshi's personality down).
Now I gotta figure out how to make a poll picture...O.o
Also, anybody know the 'types' of guys? O.o
Okie...byezzorzz then...
