I wish I had a tie...>.> Or knew how to tie a tie...O.o That'd be nice.
My friend has several...she has some really cool clothes...>:D
Ummm...
This isn't a nonsense post! XD Just begins with nonsense! XD
Soooo...I watched Sherlock Holmes today...just now...
Ummm...It was okay, I wouldn't care about watching it again. It was enjoyable...juuust...really poorly done. I don't know how to explain it, but something just seemed so...so...tried. Like the director or writer had never done a mystery before.
First of all, the clothes were...Umm...well, the hair-styles didn't really fit the time period...O.o Or just something...
The characters were really flat and I was tired of Sherlock Holmes' character always acting like he was so cool and knew everything. Actually, most of the characters acted like that...O.o Where they had the cocky grin like 'Oh, yeah, I have a plan and you're too dumb to figure it out,' or something like that...>.>
Bahh...the mystery wasn't even that good. I mean, I figured out most of it, and then the other stuff, well, you couldn't really figure it out because nobody really cared...like the part where the guy bursts into flames...yeahhh...I didn't figure it out like the rest of them, because I really didn't care...>.>
And how did Sherlock Holmes even know about that incident!? O.o
He knew so many random things that a human being can't possibly know. I understand he's supposed to be clever and cunning and everything and know all these things and seem like he's not a human. But it's HUMANLY IMPOSSIBLE (at least with us using 10% of our brains) to know exactly what happened in an event that you never even went to or saw or anything...>.>
And the action was unneeded. I've never heard of a detective who beat people up and was really skilled at it and all and also was a detective. I mean, they could've made a whole different movie about a guy who planned his battles out and easily won them...That wasn't at all Sherlock Holmes, but it was interesting (and I've had characters in mind with that kind of skill)...but you can't put all in one.
He's almost like a gary sue...>.>
And I didn't really like any of the other characters, either. The lady (whatever her name was, I don't really care)...well, more like the actress was TERRIBLE!! TT^TT UGGGHHH!! The first time I saw her I was like 'Oh, wow, she looks pretty, I bet she's just like her part,' and then she SPEAKS! TT^TT It was soooo terrible. Isn't she also supposed to have an accent? And on top of that, isn't she supposed to say stuff so it DOESN'T sound completely cheesy like you're trying to be smarter than you really are and showing off...>.>
I'm glad I didn't see this in a movie theatre...I would CRINGE if I heard people saying how much of a genius Sherlock Holmes was...He's not a genius, he's supposed to be, he was set up to be a genius, but those mysteries were SOOO simple, I figured them out the moment they happened ('cept for some like the guy bursting in flames...I did think that the trigger lit some flame, but I didn't think about how it got on him...O.o).
The thing about the dead guy rising from the dead, but he had no pulse...
Anybody else seen that in like...every detective manga? I've seen that too many times. The moment the guy was like 'he is now declared dead because he has no pulse' I was like...Oh, here it goes again...>.> They always just check the pulse and nothing else...
Doesn't Cheney not have a pulse? Like he got some robotic heart or something...Yeah, he doesn't have a pulse, he's still alive.
So anytime in a movie or whatever I hear that they don't have a pulse and that they're dead I think 'Uhhh...I dunno if he's actually dead, did you check anything else?'...I've become cautious of that kind of stuff...in any story...If they say that the character is dead because they have no pulse probably means that they're still alive...O.O
But besides all of it's problems, it was enjoyable...kinda...>.>
Makes me want to make a mystery movie similar to it, but do it better.
Makes me want to make a God Child movie! XD
I'd like to write screen plays for movies that people wouldn't expect. Like really deep victorian movies, shounen-ai movies (yush, mon, they wouldn't even expect it! >:D), historical horrors (they...really haven't done any of these...O.o Only a few, but that's from Korea and Japan, America's done none of these). Of course, those sound like they've been done a lot, but not really. And by victorian I mean like this Sherlock Holmes kind of victorian...
I'd like to make artistic movies. Where you feel like you didn't really watch a movie and all this inspiration whacks you in the face. And not all this keeping to one kind of thing, like a movie all on effects or action and not on the story (*cough* Avatar *cough) or a movie that has terrible effects and is pretty boring and straight forward, but the story is really brilliant. I'd like to combine the two. The acting doesn't even have to be good, there just has to be some kind of feel that fixes the problems if there are some.
And the effects you wouldn't really notice that much, but it'd make the movie more magical. Like enhancing colours and stuff...
So many ideas, mon, I just don't know how to use a camera or direct people..."orz I'd like to learn, though...>.>
There are too many things I want to do in my life! TT^TT But I look to Clint Eastwood for motivation, because just look at all the stuff he's done. I want to do a bunch of different things, too, and I want them all to be good, like how he did...>.>
I want to make fantasty magical and not all fake looking or too realistic. Of course, I'd make it realistic, though...'orz I can't help making things realistic! TT^TT
Like I just thought of a story for Tobias, and I might want to throw it out so I'll tell you guys anyways. I'm making another character who might be the main character instead and well...whatever....enough talking (I don't even know what I'm talking about anymore).
My idea was that there would be this world where there is one ruler of the entire world, but then he's ruled by 9 others (like the Supreme Court, but that's not why I made it 9) who judge if he's doing the right thing. If he does the wrong thing then he is punished (probably murdered) and it goes onto the next person in line or whoever wants to be heir (can be his best friend, somebody he's just met, anybody). And how they judge who's a bad leader is by waiting many years and if there is bad going on in the world because of their decision, then he's punished and we go onto the next guy.
And what if the judges are bad? Well, then it goes with the same thing, except the rest of the world judge them, including the other judges. So there is a lot of pressure on them. But since they have to wait a long time to see if anything bad has been done they offer them immortality. And not as a magical thing, or anything. They make them indestructible cyborg/android things, but they can choose what they look like and all.
And if they have good judges and they're always fair and perfect and everything, then they keep them, if they mess up then they're also punished and they choose some other candidate, but this is really important because it's the fate of the world at their hands. The oldest one is the perfect judge, but since he's so old they put him in a chamber with no doors so nobody can get to him, but he's actually hooked up to the rest of the world, so he's basically like the ruler of the world (they couldn't help it, they had one really good justice and no other way to keep him alive) and he's like the ruler of the justices. And there are a few other old ones and a few new ones, but only like 1 of them is actually still in his human aging form, the rest are robots.
Ummm...well...that's not the story, just had to explain that part to you.
Then there's the homeless millionaire guy who's best friend is the ruler of the world so he's the heir to the throne and since he doesn't plan on having a family either he has searched for his side kick to become his heir and chose Tobias because he's a good hacker...O.o
Umm...so the homeless millionaire is actually kinda a bad guy of the world because he's a millionaire (actually richer than that, but I like the sound of millionaire compared to billionaire or anything else...O.o) who got all his money not from working, but from stealing money from the rest of the world (by hacking), which is illegal. And then he's best friends with the ruler, and he knows all about this happening and he kinda supports him, and then he gets another hacker to do what he does to become the heir after him.
So you have all these guys doing the wrong thing and they're all going to end up being punished for it...>.> So it's just how they're going to get around that. Meanwhile, the supreme judge guy finally cracks (because he might not seem like it anymore, but his thinking is still human) and there's no way to stop his destruction of the world and blah blah blah. So everything leads to inevitable doom...*nod* *nod*
Though, I kinda told you EVERYTHING. I do think this sounds pretty cliche, so I probably won't want to use it...>.>
Mostly it was just me trying to figure out how I can fit in Tobias, Konami (actually, I forgot about him, I've no clue how to put him in...XD Which is why I don't really want to do this), my homeless millionaire, the ruler of the world (which is paired with the millionaire since they're best friends and stuffs), my raven god guy (I have NO clue how to explain this guy, and I'm still working on him, but I want to keep him), my double android guy (the normal version and the chibi version he carries around, I think I've drawn a picture of him in my portfolio...O.o), and some other ones I can't think of right now.
But this story leaves a lot of them out...>.> And with all this work trying to make the world good, why do we even have people like Tobias and Konami in the world? So that story wouldn't really work for those characters...O.o
Oh, well...I'll come up with SOMETHING to make it all fit...>.>
I'm designing/drawing the homeless millionaire guy now! He's very fun! ^ ^
