The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Finally got the game Wednesday, I think?

I've been playing it ever since~! <333

I HAVE to say...it is A WONDERFUL GAME! There is never a moment in a game where you feel like you have to wait (or where you can relax...XD). The gameplay has to be the best I've ever encountered and it's just so perfect in its perfectness~! X3

I LOVE that beetle thing! I always wonder in Zelda games where I'm going or how to get to a certain place, so I use that beetle to show me where to go...XD (That's not really it's purpose, but whatever...XD)

I'm already on the third dungeon.

My main problem with it is that it has yet to feel like a Zelda game. Maybe I felt the same way with the other Zelda games that I played at first, but it's just something about this one that kinda disappoints me.

All the people on the ground are new creatures...(that I don't particularly like). They all seem like Mario kinds of creatures. Nothing like gorons or zoras or koroks or anything fun like that...>3>

The sword spirit girl...I forgot her name, they said her name ONCE and it was so short I've forgotten it...XD She's not as annoying as Navi, but not as lovable as Midna since she's very repetitive and keeps telling you the percent chance, which is kinda annoying...>3>

The animation is really pretty.

The score sometimes reminds me of Joe Hisaishi's music sometimes..even though he does mostly piano songs...hrmmm...like a mixture of Studio Ghibli music and Super Smash Bros. music I guess...XD It doesn't sound like Zelda music at all...XD Even though a lot of the melodies are the same as in the old ones.

I'll feel better once I find a zora, but right now...no zoras and only ONE goron.

Why does Nintendo hate Gorons? I really love these guys, yet they've only put one goron in each game, lately, or in Twilight Princess they basically did nothing except sumo wrestle with you and throw you up the mountain. What happened to the Gorons that make you part of the family like in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask!?

This game takes place before Ocarina of Time and before Hyrule and all that jazz...before all the stuff we know and love! TT^TT

Oh! And there are robots! I was surprised...and slightly disappointed 'cause I thought they'd be liike stone spirits or something...

No spirits in this game...and hardly any fairies...

There are also no ghosts either (so far) and it bothers me that this game doesn't scare me! ;m; Except for the music in certain parts...XD

Another thing that I love about Zelda games is the creepiness of certain parts...but this one has yet to have any of that!

I also worry about how long it is...

Sooo right now if I'd give it a score it'd probably be liike a 20/10 for the gameplay, but a 7/10 for everything else just 'cause it's kinda boring if it weren't for the gameplay...nothing particularly lovable so far.

Oh! Also! There seems to a be a recurring theme of watercolours and paintings! The landscape is faintly like a painting, when it goes farther out it looks like they're strokes. And the 3D designs are much different than any other game I've seen. None of the characters seem particularly bulky like in most 3D games and everything seems very clean.

So that's what I've been doing for the past couple of days...and...more...since I plan on going back them after this post...XD

What else to saaayyy....? Well, it's a very good game so I recommend buying it~! X3

Bye-bye~! Gonna go play some more~! XD (I only stopped 'cause my wii remote ran out of power...;orz)
