My brother says I keep trying to impersonate Fonzy...;m; Wah?
'Ayyy' is not owned by Fonzy....>3>
'nyways~!
I'm not done with my list, but from what I've seen the dramas I can not get off my mind are:
Hana Kimi (I've been watching this all day)
Boys Before/Over Flowers (I always thought it was 'Over' Flowers, but a lot of times I've seen it as 'Before'...well, it's the Korean version of Hana Yori Dango)
Down with Love
Those three I've liked the most.
I watched up to episode...I think 7 last night of Boys (I'm gonna say over) Over Flowers, and I cried. I didn't think I would cry about a romance, but I really really liked Goo Jun Pyo...;m; HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO HIM JANDI!? Though I originally watched it 'cause Kim Hyun Joong was in it, but I think Lee Min Ho is the far better actor. I was touched in liike every scene he was in. I don't really like Jihoon that much. He just seems like a boring character...O.o;
I'll watch it again when I calm down about that...XD I guess that means it's very good! XD
(Really, I feel embarrassed that I cried over it, but I did...;m;)
The pitfalls I find about it, though, are that there seems to be a pattern of Jandi getting hurt or something, or just some point in the video they're showing us all this fantabulous rich stuff...and it TAKES FOREVER! 'kay, get the point, they're rich, they're having a good time, let's just end it there! Maybe it could've just been 45 minutes with all that taken out!...>3> (I is bothered by 1 hour videos...I don't have that much time in the day)
Once I finish the Korean version I'll wait a little while and watch the Japanese version 'cause, the Japanese version has Matsumoto Jun from Arashi in it~! *.* It also has less episodes (THANK YOU JAPANESE DRAMA)...I don't understand why the Korean one has so many episodes (WAI 20+!? WHAT ARE YOU GUYS GONNA DO IN ALL THAT TIME!?).
Hah! XD I just watch these dramas 'cause there's singers I'm already familiar with in them! XD
Down with Love is a Chinese drama with Ella Chen from S.H.E.. I was very surprised by her acting...maybe it was just the character, but she was so funny! XD I didn't know what to think of a singer not playing a serious role. I really love her character! That drama is just toooooo freaking hilarious! XD And the lead guy, he's supposed to be very handsome, and I think he goes over that adjective! XD
...
...
And he's in the Chinese version of Hana Yori Dango...guess I have to watch that, too. Gosh, the guys doing the casting for the characters in the live action versions of that are GENIUSES! O.O
He looks like the Chinese version of Changmin...O.O So now that makes a Korean, Japanese, and Korean versions of Changmin (I say Changmin just 'cause I like saying his name the most...XD)
Japanese version is Junnosuke Taguchi.
And Hana Kimi...the entire time I'm like 'maybe I should just read the manga'...but then I don't want to 'cause of freaking Ikuta Toma~! ;w;
It's perfect...it's perfect...XD
Hrmm
Maybe I should tell you guys what they're about...(TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITY!!)
Sooo...Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers/Meteor Falls...>3>
This girl (JanDi) lives in a fairly poor family who own a dry cleaning business, and one day when she's giving a customer his uniform back she stops him from committing suicide and becomes 'Wonder Woman'...or just a big hero, and gets full scholarship to the school. But this school is the elitest school, basically for the richest of the rich, and the fantabulous F4 (Flower Four) are the guys running the social aspect of the school. The Flower Four are made up of the four richest and most handsome guys in the school and the students do whatever they ask for them to do, even if it's very terrible (sometimes they even do very terrible things on their own...the students, not F4). And if you get the red F4 card then you are their target, which was the cause of the guy she saved to be causing suicide. But she fights back and slowly gains respect from F4 (in more ways than one :D).
Yep, that's meh summary...I didn't want to spoil anything...>3> The directing is lovely and adorable and the story is very good, thought there are some...typical drama parts, it's still very good.
Down with Love:
The main character (unfortunately I forgot her name...;m; Ella Chen) lives with a money hungry sister who together don't make a great income. She tries many ways to earn money, but is hit with bad luck when she loses her boyfriend and job. While on the other spectrum Jerry Yan is an expert...umm...some kinda lawyer having to do with divorcing and marriage stuffs...Well, he claims he hates women (and it can easily be seen), yet he has 2 children to take care of (not his, he's just their uncle) and needs to find a baby sitter. But either the baby sitters fall in love with him, or are traumatized by the little brats (ohoho! XD), so he can't find any baby sitters. And after many events Ella Chen and Jerry Yan come to hate eachother, but Ella Chen needs a job and Jerry Yan needs a baby sitter, so Ella Chen ends up working for him.
(Sorry, I forgot their character names and just used their actor names...makes it easier)
and lastly Hana Kimi, which there is a manga of, so I guess it wouldn't matter if you didn't watch it, but it's indeed very funny. I love any moments with Ikuta Toma and the main character...XD
It's basically a genderbender. The main character goes to an all boys school so she can get the person she idolizes to go back to doing 'high jumps' which he was the best at, but he doesn't want to. The school itself is very very strange...and all the characters are very very strange. You have the fairly normal Dorm 2 (which the main character stays at, just for that one guy) and then you have the other two Dorms, one with a military-style management where the guys are constantly in karate uniforms and practicing their martial arts, and then the other has the dorm leader who is very very flamboyant and crazy and dramatic and so are his followers, or fellow dormmates. It's very strange. The guy who played Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club live action plays the guy who can 'see ghosts'...that character is also very enjoyable.
What I love about this drama is that it looks exactly like an anime! XD It's so crazy like an anime! XD
Oh...Ikuta Toma plays one of the main character's friends who falls in love with her, but doesn't know what she's a girl, so the entire time he's freaking out about possibly being gay...XD
The silliness is the best part...so that's why I want to watch the drama instead of forgetting about it and going to the manga.
Nowww...I was familiar with Ikuta Toma before 'cause a lot of girls I had read about how they all thought he was the most...I think it was 'attractive' guy...but I didn't understand why, 'cause he's not that great looking, but after watching his scenes in Hana Kimi I can understand! He's freaking hilarious.
And...
this is very random...
But I think Ikuta Toma looks a bit like Melochin (or vice versa)...
...In I guess, more important news.
All this talk about dramas and watching them sounds worrisome. After all, they're all more than 30 minutes long, close to an hour (though I think Down with Love is 2 hours...HOW CAN THEY DO THAT!? ;m;). Have I been doing anything on my manga?
Nope...unfortunately. And I realized I can't use the 4 pages I've drawn...;m; Or maybe I can? But I figured out some aspects to my story that make it in need of revising. All this drama has inspired me! I feel like pursuing it more, now! >:D
My problem was that it seem kinda dull and boring, like nothing was happening...then I realized that I didn't introduce my main character well enough to make it catchy, and that also made it harder to write her part...So I'm going to redo some parts, mainly the beginning...Hopefully I CAN use the first parts, but reading over them they seem rather cheesy if I used them...>3>
Well...I should stop talking and start working now, ADIOS~!
WAIIIIITTTT! One more think about Hana Kimi!! Yu Shirota's in it! I was surprised! I forgot he was an actor! XD And the entire time I was like 'WHY YOU COMPLAINING THAT YOU DON'T HAVE A FOREIGN LOOKING PERSON! YA GOT YU!' but then I remembered that he's in another school...still, HE'S SPANISH! HE KINDA STICKS OUT! Well, half Spanish, half Japanese, but he still sticks out...'cause he's tall and has a western face...
Okay, now I'll go...XD
