Let's see...what's been goin' down? Yo...yo?
I went to a play yesterday.
I did not expect any of what I saw. First of, my teacher/academic team coach just said it was the play of The Tempest so I was like 'sounds pretteh awesome to go see a Shakespeare play' and I definitely wanted to go....then my mom tells me it's a musical...and then setting there and getting the pamphlet on the play...
It was a HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL VERSION OF THE TEMPEST!
As in, actors from high school...not High School Musical...XD
What was worse was that this guy who I would see that Academic Team Meets sometimes who would always follow me around and one time I was sitting in the audience and the match ended and just like you're supposed to shake hands with the opposite team, though I was the opposite team, how would he have known? I was far in the audience and he came all the way to where I was to shake my hand and I was the only person he shook hands with...;m; I felt so creeped out! But luckily meh friend saved me from the awkwardness~! :D I mean...he WAS my friend...O.o; (But that's beside the point)
What's even worse from there is that he played a fairly major character...TT^TT So I actually had to look at the guy...ugh...so gross....TT^TT
The play was okay...I couldn't really understand was anyone was saying and there were several mistakes, but they only had 8 weeks to do all that!
What else has happened? Hrmmm...
Oh! What I thought was AP World Civilizations online turned out to be just play World Civ. online, but it's leik credit recovery (It doesn't make sense to me...how can it be credit recovery, I've never taken the class, they just didn't offer World Civ...;m;) and apparently if I pass the placement test above 60% then I'm out of the class completely, but if I don't I just have to do a few small tests over reading that they said was really easy and would probably take me a week or less (another teacher told me it'd take a day).
The bright side to that is it all is that Spanish 3 is that same period. Even though I've already taken Spanish 3, I need a Spanish this semester or else I'll forget everything and totally bomb the AP test! I want to pass it! ;m;
I don't know what else to say here...hrmmm....HRMMM...
I thought I did, but I just forgot...
So this weekend I'm working on that (hopefully I can finish it this weekend) and work on college admission essays~! :D
I want to major in International Affairs...although looking at all the classes I've taken that wouldn't be entirely suitable...but I don't MIND history...I just don't believe it sometimes...like that they have specific details in the textbooks that would be hard to report on even now...like what somebody was thinking or why they did what they did. You can make guesses, but it's probably not exactly how they thought...which bothers me, because most of the tests for History have it where things like that are almost concrete...>3>
I don't know what future career I want...but I feel that International Affairs aligns fairly well with anything I MIGHT want to do.
Of course, Minor in art. But if I don't like International Affairs, of course I can just change majors.
But still...
I want to get into other countries' business~! >:D
