I FINALLY remembered to take a photo of this dress before rushing off to town. I've been wanting to have a photoshoot in it for a long time, but it's been way too cold lately. Since I don't have any better pics, here's this one. This is the Sailor dress I bought from Momo's. The sleeves of the jacket were really bulky, so I took them in and added elastic near the top. It's much better now! ^^ This is one of my fav Lolita dresses! I also have a pair of navy and white striped knee socks with lace around the top and a red anchor on the sides. I wish I had thought to wear them for this pic, but oh well. I'm also working on altering a sailor hat, so hopefully I can have a nice photoshoot soon! ^-^
Ta-da! My first bonnet! I always thought bonnets were cute when coordinated properly, but never thought of actually buying one since I don't think I would wear it out. But since I was bored one day, I thought I'd try making one just for fun. It came out a lot better than I thought it would! ^^ I still probably won't wear it out, but I'll definitly use it for photoshoots!
I used white cotton and lace I had laying around to make it. I put interfacing in it, but it was still just a tad floppy, so I added some thin wire through the hem and that worked great! I'm thinking about adding these to my store sometime, but I'm too busy getting everything else ready right now. I'm also going to add some flower decorations around the inside.
I came across this on Fanplusfriend while looking for cardigans, and I absolutely love this combination! I usually don't like large floral prints like this since I grew up being surrounded by them, but I just can't help but love this one. ^^ I'm thinking about asking for this for my birthday, but I have no idea what kind of socks and shoes I'd wear with it. I don't think I have anything now that would coordinate well with it, so I'd have to buy something new. Since I'd have buy nearly everything new for this outfit, I'm kinda thinking about just not bothering with it. What do you think? Do any of you like it too?
This is one of my fav Lolita sets I've seen yet! I love the contrast of the blue embroidery against the black fabric. I wish to goodness that I could afford this, but there's no way right now. I'm going to be starting a little shop on Etsy soon, so maybe if it does well I can afford something like this. After seeing this, I'm going to have to make a dress with a blue rose theme. I absolutely LOVE blue roses, and I think they'd be so gorgeous with a black lolita dress. I'm going to start working on some fake nails too soon, so I'll definitly be posting a pic of those when I'm done. *looks at pic* I still wish I could afford that. Oh well, maybe someday (as always).
Kanona Wakeshima is one of my favorite music artists of all time! I love almost all of her music, especially Still Doll, Skip Turn Step and Shiroi Kokoro.
