I've decided to start having contests here in Lolita Chateau. I'm not sure how often I'll post a new one, but this contest will last until August 15 (I'm thinking half a month). The mission is simple. Find the absolute WORST lolita dress you can possibly find and either post the photo here, or post a link to it. Be sure to mention that the photo is for the contest. You can enter a total of three photos for the contest.

Yeah, I know wallpaper requests seem like the prize for everything here on TheOtaku, but I just don't have anything else to offer as a prize right now.
I've been trying to find an authentic post op eye patch for a long time to use with a gurololi oufit, but I could never find one until now. I'm not sure if anyone here likes gurololi, but I wanted to give a link to it anyway since it can also be used for cosplays like Akito/Agito. The patch is on J-Box.com (aka J-list) and is only $4.50. Shipping is only a few dollars for the airmail or priority. I just ordered one myself, so you can expect some gurololi pics when I get it. lol

I'm finally going to be making some headresses to sell! I'll be making other accessories too soon, but for now, I'm just making headdresses. I'll be leaving to stay at my friend's house on August 5th and then we'll be going to Ikasucon for the weekend, so I'm not going to start selling anything until I get back. But here's some pics of the headdress I made for myself. I'm going to make more just like it to sell if I can find the same lace and flowers. The headdresses can be made with a ribbon tie to hold it on, or hair clips on each side to clip it into your hair. I don't have a price for them yet, it depends on how much the materials are.
This is huge news for western lolitas! The lolita store, Baby The Stars Shine Bright, is going to open in San Francisco on August 15th! ^o^ Finally there will be a lolita store in the US! *applause* This should show how much lolita fashion has grown in the US. The store will be located in a large jpop related mall and I heard there will be an entire floor dedicated to lolita! I haven't been able to find out the name of the mall yet, but it's so exciting! ^o^ The mall is scheduled to open on August 15th, but the date has been pushed back so many times, it could change again. But since they're hiring staff now, it should open on the 15th. I want to shop there so bad! But maybe it's good thing I can't, since I'd probably go crazy and spend all the money I have. lol
