Welcome to the Lolita Chateau!
This is a world completely dedicated to lolita fashion! Anything loli related can be posted here, such as photos, recipies, poems, tutorials, stories, etc. If you'd like to be a guest poster here, just send me a message! ^^ But if you do post in this world, please refrain from using any harsh language. This world is open to everyone, and lolitas should be well-mannered and polite anyway. Thank you and enjoy! ^o^
Since Momo's shop quit listing new dresses (and they don't even have their store anymore) I started looking around online for another place to buy affordable lolita clothing. I knew to stay away from stores that steal all their photos, but there w...
I've been looking up some bands & singers lately, hoping to find some more good lolita-based songs like Kanon Wakeshima's. Kokusyoku Sumire isn't one of my top favs, but they're definitly a good lolita-based group! While I'm not in love with their singing (don't get me wrong, I don't think they're bad or anything), I love their music videos! Especially the Circus no Uma video. I just love carnival themes. ^^
I love lolita themed music, so I'm always so happy to find another band or singer whose songs match the style. ^-^
Today has been a great day for me! I got my new socks that have a tea set design down the side, and I also finally got to go back to Through The Looking Glass. I went there hoping to find a cute tea cup to use, and I love the one I found! It's simple, but so cute! I had already bought a tea cup & pot with a strawberry print, but it ended up sitting on a shelf in my room as decoration. It just looks too pretty up there to move it! ^^;
I thought I'd look around the store to see what else was there, and soon found myself looking over all the many sweets that were for sell. I found some scones there once that I absolutely loved, but I haven't been able to find them again since. One thing, however, caught my eye instantly. And all because of the title, Petticoat Tails. I'd never heard of them before, but thought I'd try them. I mean, seriously, they're called Petticoat Tails! How can a Lolita not want to buy them? lol I tried one in the truck when we left, and I really liked them! They tasted like something I had tried before, but I can't quite put my finger on what it was. They kind of remind me of sugar cookies, though. So yummy and cute! I can't wait to go back, and hopefully try more teas!
And because I got a snapshot of my outfit today...
I've heard lolitas talk about their dream dress, dream shoes, dream purse, but not as much their dream socks. Well, these are my dream socks. Ever since I saw the design of flowers going up the sides, I've always loved that design of socks and stockings. My fav sock store didn't carry any such socks, and I wasn't as in love with the ones on FanPlusFriend because of the ribbon lacing printed over the foot. Finally I started checking some of my fav ebay stores and found an adorable pair on Refuse to be Usual. They had a scalloped top, pink and red flowers going down each side of the socks, and no ribbon print. It took me a long time to finally order the socks, but I'm so happy I did!
I just got them in the mail yesterday, and I love them so much! The white color of the socks is more of a cream color, so it might not look quite right with my black and white dress, but it'll look lovely with my red one! Red shoes would be perfect with coordinate, so I'll be trying really hard to find a cute red pair now. There are so many other cute printed socks on Refuse to be Usual that I'm also hoping to buy soon. They have a black pair with a pastel pink tea set design going down the side that I love!
