Tea Party

My friend came over the day after Christmas and stayed for about 4 days. She's just getting into Lolita and already bought a couple of dresses, so we had fun wearing them around town together! I took a pic of her in my room before we left, she's such a cute sweetloli! ^^

We also took a photo together in front of the Christmas tree. ^^ We ended up switching shoes though, because the heel on her cute white shoes broke. I'm glad that she was able to fit into my boots well, she said that she didn't have anything else that matched her pink dress. I wore my RH shoes that day.

This is when we were at the tea shop, Through the Looking Glass. She borrowed my rocking horse shoes since she was wanting to try wearing a pair. So I have my white boots again in this pic! ^^ She didn't have any trouble walking in them, which really surprised me since I know the shoes are probably a couple sizes too big for her. But we had a lot of fun! I found two panda finger puppets that I bought because they were cute, and we tried four different kinds of tea. I still didn't find a kind that I really liked though. Now I think that I just don't like hot tea. When I go back, I'm going to try some iced teas and maybe some with cream. I'm determined to find at least one kind of tea that I like!

Having tea at Through the Looking Glass

My mom recently noticed an add in the newpaper from a store called Through the Looking Glass. We didn't know anything about it, but the name alone made me want to stop there and see it. We finally did today, and it's now my fav store! It's a cute little tea shop with lots of little trinkets for sell. I actually found some bento boxes and accessories there too! The woman who owns the shop was really nice, and when she saw my outfit (I was wearing a sort of j-punk schoolgirl outfit) she asked me if I liked Steampunk, and she told me about a bunch of events she has there at her shop. It's sounded like so much fun, I really hope to attend some of them! Unfortunately, as much as I want to like tea, I just don't like the taste. T__T She had several suggestions of tea that have different unique tastes, so I'm really looking forward to going back when I have more time! Maybe I'll finally find a kind that I like! And next time I'll be sure to wear a Lolita dress. ^-^

From Russia With Love~

I found a guide on how to make a tissue paper rose. I made atleast a half a dozen, even my sister made one! We stuck them all in our parents tiny tinsel trees in their room

I thought this would make a cute loli-able craft (I suggest using a stiffer tissue)

Good day!

Hello, I'm Fishy and I'm new here. I'm not completely new to the lolita fashion, but in a way I am. I've loved and looked at lolita for ages, but I've only just started wearing it, so I'm bound to make a few mistakes.

^^That's me up there^^ The blouse flares out and gives the impression that my stomach sticks out, but it really doesn't.

My father is so nice that he's going to buy me stuff! I'm getting this blouse from In the Starlight.

Or this one.

They're both from Body Line, but the reviews are good. I like the sleeves on the first one, but the second one is pretty too, plus it's not frowning in lace.

So, that's about it for my introduction. I hope to contribute more in the future.
