Since Momo's shop quit listing new dresses (and they don't even have their store anymore) I started looking around online for another place to buy affordable lolita clothing. I knew to stay away from stores that steal all their photos, but there was something about Cosplay007 that made me want to check it out. I posted on the LolitaFashion forums and one girl said that she had bought from them before and was very happy with the dress she recieved. She said that the petticoat was pretty awful, but the dress itself was very nice. All of Cosplay007's lolita dresses come with a petticoat. Some of the replies I got on the forums said to NEVER buy from ebay sellers, but I know by now that rule is bogus, since I've found nearly all of my dresses and accessories on ebay. Many others said that there was nothing wrong with ordering from ebay sellers, as long as they do a good job making the dress. Cosplay007 had good feedback, and most of what they sell is lolita instead of cosplay. So I decided to give them a try.
I ordered this dress in a custom size in the color Baby Blue. The dress took about twice as long as stated to ship, but only took a few days to arrive after that. The dress ended up being made in the wrong color, being a pale minty green instead of blue. But it was still a very lovely color and I had been wanting a green dress anyway, so I didn't ask to send it back or leave negative feedback for them because of it. The dress fits fairly well. I would've liked it to have a bit more room around the bust, but it's not actually too tight. The fabric is decent, being a thin cotton it's nice for summer. My only complaint was that the light color was just slightly see-through, so I had to add a white lining inside the top of the dress. It was also a bit too long, but that could've been my mistake when I measured for the length of the skirt. Aside from the color being wrong, there were only a few slight flaws and nothing was beyond alteration. I wore the dress out for the first time today, and I really loved it! The thinner fabric and light color was really nice in the summer heat. So despite the color and alterations I had to do, I'm very happy I bought this dress!

Their dresses are priced very nicely, but I would've liked it better if they had used better fabric and added the detail of lace where it's shown in the picture. I suppose this is an example of 'you get what you pay for'. Although even with thinner fabric and no lace detailing, the dress I got is still lovely in my opinion and certainly was worth the money.

Let me just say first and foremost, don't expect a great petticoat to come with the dress. The petticoat really is awful. It's poorly made and nearly flat. The dress, however, is sewn very neatly, looks almost identical to the brand photo, and has a good fit. As I said before, I would've prefered that they used a better quality fabric rather than thin cotton, but it's very nice during summer. The white fabric that was used for the bustles in the back of the skirt is a somewhat stretchy cotton, which doesn't make much sense to me. It was a bit difficult to sewn on when I shortened the dress, and seems to wrinkle a bit easier then the pale green fabric. This is a very small detail though, and doesn't at all effect the way the dress looks or feels.
Communication 10/10
I must say, Cosplay007 does have excellent communication with buyers. I orignally left neutral feedback for them, stating the good and the bad. Afterwhich they sent me a message asking for some way to resolve the problem. They ended up sending me a $15 refund and I changed the feedback I left, mentioning the refund. They also offered a discount if I bought another item from them. Other feedbacks I read also seemed to applaud their communication, so I doubt that will ever be problem.
Shipping 5/10
The dress was stated to ship 15-20 days after payment. It took well over a full month for mine to ship. I asked them once if they had shipped it, and they answered that they would in 1-2 days. It was about four days later when they actually did ship it. Once the dress finally was mailed it only took about three or four days to arrive. It was shipped through DHL and Cosplay007 sent me the tracking number for it, so I checked on it nearly everyday until it arrived.

I do love the dress I got, but I'm a bit hesitant to buy from them again. I'm worried that they may get the color wrong again and it would be a color that I hate. If I see another lovely dress that I have the money for I'll probably buy from them again and just hope that the color comes out right this time. They have so many beautiful replica dresses, I'd love to feel confident about ordering from them.
