Hey everyone,
So it snowed in southern Maryland....like 8 inches. To me that is not a problem since I have been and pretty much lived in areas that got more on a daily bases. However, southern Maryland has no idea really how to deal with that and that upsets me.
I was on my way to work this morning at 5:30 a.m. I figured start early and salt the steps and all at my place. Should have arrived around 6:00 or a little before but that did not happen this morning. I got stuck.
Thankfully I had a Jeep and I was out in about 10 minutes. Would have been sooner but I seem to be having issues with my tranny and 4x4 again. Going to have to take a look at them after the snow clears.
So you may be wondering how I got into said stuck situation. Well I shall let you know. Other people going really fast in their cars and not knowing roughly where the lines should be. So a lifted pickup truck that doesn't seem to get dirty (seen around and always clean) sped past me and slowly coming towards me. So the pressure difference from him passing my little lifted Jeep caused it to slide a little but I had to move from him so I didn't get hit which the the wind from him speeding pass just pushed me away causing me to slide and into the side snow pile.
Well then it was a little rock back and forth to get the snow packed away from the tires. But turns out I am having a bad connection with the hydraulic system for the clutch pad. Was not initially letting me stay in gear. So that is also what caused said issue to take about 10 minutes.
But at last I was able to get free and make it down the road to work by 6:15. Not sure if I will be having my meeting today since I don't know who else is going to make it in.
Hope ya'll have a better morning then me.
Later!
