The Woman with a Broken Heart

Hay you there,
The one that broke my heart,
Guess what I'm doing now?
I'm dancing in circles around my living room.
I'm writting poems that have no rhyme or reason.
I'm doing things I've never done before.
I'm learning new languages, dances from across the seas,
I'm reading and learning new music styles,
I'm learning what its like to live without you here by my side.
And let me tell you this is one fantastic ride!
I love this freedom, I love this being able to live again,
I love not having you here to complain,
I love not having you here ruining a good time,
I love being able to be happy without being chastised.
Do you know how great it is to be without you?
Just look at this new woman before you,
Dancing on this floor without a care in the world,
Singing out of tune in a group, wearing those clothes that you hate,
Talking to the people that you hate,
Eating the foods that you hate, shopping where you hate to shop,
Doing the things you hate and the things you were too afraid to do.
I am free now, I am free to be me.
I've severed the strings that once bound me and now I proclaim it around the world!
Look at me! Look at me flying!
