Hello, everyone! It sure has been a long while! Thank you for the birthday wishes and I'm sorry I wasn't really here to thank you all personally. But I'm back, and here's the sitch on what's been going on with me.
I haven't touched photoshop for the past few months, just picked it up again yesterday, I've cleaned up my worlds, gotten rid of that silly themed world because I didn't really do much with it, and I've turned world of wonder into Momma's Menagerie for solely icons and my own graphics. Features will be done in Chained from here on out and that's where most of my posts have disappeared to.
Status on prizes for my Lana Del Rey challenge: there hasn't and will not be any progress on them. I'm sorry to the people who won the challenge, what you've gotten is all you'll get. Something pretty traumatic happened to me around the time I got my computer back and it put most of my creative exploits on halt. I tanked my last semester of classes and I really haven't been the same since, but I'm a lot better now and I will probably only be doing things of my own volition.
Felcie, if you read this, I'll try to at least get the rest of the icons to you (I've made about four but I'm thinking about starting those over).
I didn't go to the San Diego Comic Con as I had planned, mostly due to that incident I aforementioned and partially due to me not having anyone I'd be able to go with that I knew in real life and personally. If all goes well I'll be attending a few Cons in New York (Excelsior!) over the course of the next year and I'll eventually go to San Diego in a cosplay I've yet to figure out.
I've become addicted to Assassin's Creed! I've played and beaten every game in the franchise and I'm going a little bit crazy waiting for the release of the 4th majour installment. And I'll have to wait longer than everyone else due to my PC only policy. I only have that policy because of my lack of budget to purchase an XBOX 360, something I solely want. Good news, though! My parents preordered AC4: Black Flag for my birthday so all I have to do is wait! I can't express my love for the Kenway family and I'm excited to see the return of the lineage with Edward! I'll surely miss Connor, though, he's smokin' hot.
The only other thing worth mentioning is that I've just finished a batch of about 100 Tangled icons! Now that I watch movies on my computer I can screencap them and make icons out of whatever I wish! There's only more Tangled then Wreck-It Ralph because in the former there's a lot of pausing and almost still shots. In the latter, movement is very dynamic and zany, making screencapping nearly impossible. Brave and Rise of the Guardians are next on the docket.
Send me some requests my dearies! Oh! And the movie reviews should resume! Get excited! Send some requests for those! Though I still have a Les Mis request to make good on! Ta, all!
