Death Note (デスノート, Desu Nōto) - is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and illustrator Takeshi Obata. The series centers on Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook dropped on Earth by Ryuk, a shinigami ("death god"), that allows Light to kill anyone by writing the victim's name in the notebook. The user must also know the face of the victim to prevent anyone with the same name from being harmed. The story follows Light's attempt to create and rule a world cleansed of evil using the notebook, and the complex conflict between him and his opponents.

In the recent post, the family of Light Yagami or should we say , "Kira" was introduced. In the fifth episode Soichiro Yagami told his family about the incident that the twelve FBI agents were killed by Kira. The younger sister and mother of Light were afraid that the head of their family will also be killed by Kira because He was involved in the case of Kira. But suprisingly Light told his father to continue in his work and not to resign. And if his father will be killed by Kira, Light himself will find Kira to execute him.
The Yagami Family
Soichiro Yagami (夜神 総一郎, Yagami Sōichirō)
is Light's father and a police officer that initially leads the Kira investigation team that later joins with L. When L begins to suspect Light of being Kira, Soichiro is unwilling to believe his son would be capable of such a thing. After L's death, he is sent to retrieve the Death Note stolen by Mello by obtaining Shinigami Eyes and infiltrate Mello's hideout, though Light had planned for Matsuda to fill the role.[3] He retrieves the note and learns Mello's real name, but is unable to kill him, and is instead fatally wounded. Because Light has given up his Death Note, making his lifespan visible above his head, Soichiro dies believing that Light is not Kira. Soichiro was envisioned as an "honest police officer with a strong sense of justice" that the reader "would have to feel sorry for everything he has to go through."
Sachiko Yagami (夜神 幸子, Yagami Sachiko)
is wife of Soichiro Yagami and the mother of Light. Like her daughter Sayu, she is unaware of Light ever being Kira even after his death.
Sayu Yagami (夜神 粧裕, Yagami Sayu)
is Light's younger sister. Like her mother she never learns of Light's possession of the Death Note or his identity as Kira. In the manga and anime, Mello's gang kidnaps her in exchange for the Death Note possessed by the investigation team. Although being returned unharmed, Sayu falls into a state of shock, eventually becoming unresponsive to the presence of others.
Light Yagami (夜神 月, Yagami Raito)
is a serious student who ranked first in the National College Entrance Exam. He decides to change the world by using the Death Note dropped by the Shinigami, Ryuk
