Hello~ how's everyone doin'? How's final papers, test, presentation & etc goin'? Hope you're not procrastinating like I was. lol

Recently I start watching the anime One Piece... Yes, I know, I'm late on the groove. I'm type of person that doesn't like to watch the anime, if it's popular (Evagelion, Naruto, Bleach & etc) til it dies down. Yeah, I know, One Piece is still popular, but it's not popular as it use to be. Anyways, back to the topic, in 2 days I have watched up to 175 episodes (actually, I'm amazed w that number). Over all One Piece is good and fun, but man, story doesn't move along. I can make Turkey sandwich from OP and they'll be still talkin' bout what happened last episode. I think, I gonna do simple review on this series (up til episode 175).
Story/Plot: 8/10
It is original for sure, bring back the Pirates time... at the same time, anime have done bout finding ultimate treasure/weapon since birth of anime and I understand that Pirates = Treasure & Adventure. I get that... and One Piece try to do few twists to make it interesting adventure story.
Characters: 9.5/10
I love the Chara the most! Each chara has unique design and personality that knows that it is them. They're not perfect in any means. Luffy has scar on his face. Sanji has weird eyebrow. Usoppu... well you know. Just it didn't reach to perfect score do to female charas. Yes, Nami & Nico is hot, but c'on. Their figures are like Barbie! It's ridiculous! I'm Boa fan (which she haven't shown up yet), but I'm worry she gonna have more skinnier than Nami and Nico.

I'm not judging by the chara design. That's how it was drawn in manga, so I accept that. Reason why I gave 7 is cuz of unfinished works. In 175 episodes which I have seen, I can say more than half had unfinished work was put. Yes, been animator isn't easy and they have hell days, but that doesn't mean you can up unfinished work.

So far, I don't see why I would stop watching this series, but at the same time I don't see any reason why I wouldn't skip few episodes.

Anyways, I'm getting bit hungry, so I gonna make something and start watching One Piece. lol Hope everyone keep warm and safe.
