Hello~, how's everyone doin'? As for me, enjoying the summer much as I can.
Bout 2 weeks ago, we started to play soccer Friday & Sunday now, instead of Saturday only. It's been 2 weeks and everyone is doin' fine (amazingly). .. but sadly all fun stuff gotta come to the end. This month is last month playing soccer. Why? Cuz most of my friends gonna start school again, resulting of ending the soccer. Few of my friends want to do indoor soccer on winter, so they can be in shape for next yr soccer... but still not decided.
On Thursday, I bought another soccer ball! How many soccer do I have? IDK 3~4 of em now. lol BUT this one is different. It's FIFA & NFHS Approved! Here's lil quiz. What FIFA & NFHS stands for (I'll answer that latter on in this blog). What so great bout it that? NFHS is not too many ppl know (unless you've been playing soccer from young age)... but some of you heard FIFA before. FIFA from World Cup (they're the one who is in charge of World Cup). FIFA has 2 different types: Approved & Inspected balls. Some of the major brand send their new soccer ball to FIFA to test to see it get Approved sign or Inspected sign. Bout 2/3 of em only get Inspected sign. They're great ball, but didn't pass all the tests. FIFA Inspected ball cost around $40~$100. The one that FIFA Approved usually go for $60~$350. '10 World Cup soccer ball is FIFA Approved (of course) and it was provided by Adidas (Also 2014 too) and they even have name for it. IIRC "Jabulani" which means to "Celebrate" in Zulu. Jabulani price is around $150~$500 (depends on where you search).
Alright for the answer. Let's start from easy one: FIFA. FIFA - International Federation of Association Football. Why isn't IFAF? Well cuz, FIFA is originated in France, so change that to French and it become like this: Federation Internationale de Football Association... FIFA! Now for the Hard one, NFHS. NFHS - National Federation of State High School Associations. If you got that one right, you know soccer more than I do. Just this year, I found out what NFHS means. lol
