New Year...new anime
Well.. the year is beginning. I am looking forward to seeing some new anime... Space Dandy will be premiering tonite, and since Shichiro Watanabe is a major part, I think it might be good. Cowboy Bebop remains an enduring favorite. Anime is both art and music, and story.. so there is so much in the stew here, that i hope there are several new series.

Holiday Season
It's official.. as if we didn't know.. but its true.. Winter is here, with the holiday season upon us.. a time to be with friends and family. It may be colder outside, but it is warm and friendly inside.

Been a While
Well, its been a long time since I was here....lots of changes and trying to master new ways of doing things. Still love nature photography,.. went out to the pumpkin patch and took some photos. There are pumpkins the likes of which I have never seen..blue, pale and shiny like a porceline dolls face. You can walk out into the pumpkin patch and pick your own..but it is quite a hike. In the stores and o the media, it seems that Halloween is bigger than ever.. and poor old Thanksgiving is fading into the background. Thanksgiving has always been my favorite, because that's when the whole family would get together. My sister will be flying to SoCal this year.
I am trying a new thing to dabble with..I have been watching Master Chef, and have started trying some new spices. The danger is heartburn lurks around the corner if you use too much! LOL

Sorry haven't beenaround.Work gets longer and longer,and this years cold season has not been kind (luckillyits one or 2 days down) Sitting here with parrot on y shoulder, thinking about the chores to be dones,grocey shopping. It;sfunny, but these things usually dont appear in anime, though youknow they allneed to be done. The parrot has snuggled only shoulder, I think she's going to take a nap there. Mr. Peacock still appears in the backyard periodicaly. Yesterday he danced in my yard, eoppening his beautiful fan tail. Nauture sometimes provided the best showi the house. Wishing you all bright days, and hapiness.
Wanderlust
Well, a three day weekend, and finally weather that has stopped staying in the 100's. I began to wonder with weather like that , was I some how transported to some unknown parallel universe. I now have a new car, as the other was 12 years old, and had well a lot of miles ( I think around 150,000). Of course, the new one is red.... a little crossover (small car, SUV style) I have not come up with a name for this one yet except Little truck like thing-- but its nice and compact
and gets good mileage, which is So Cal is now real important- a gallon of regular is about 4.50! (2 refinery off line, and waiting for winter gas to start being made) However, I don't think the price will come down too much, just wait and see.
A strange thing these past 3 weeks. A wild peacock landed in the backyard, He struts through several back yards, eating grass, berries, and what ever he can find. A couple of times I saw him peaking through the back door, staring at my parrot, puzzled. I will try to post a picture I took of him-- he made me laugh.
I took off and went to the Aquarium of the Pacific, AND JUST had a blast taking pictures, and seeing all the beautiful fish, birds and critters. Will try to post the a couple of photos next post.
