Welcome to my little corner. I'm new to the worlds, so please bear with me! Still trying to find people and organize things. Glad to greet long known friends and new ones!

I think time has racing shoes

I have been really long in posting- still cleacning the small things from construction, eventually want to re do the floors. We have some beautiful Christmas ;oghts-- one person does hispalm trees (at night they look like cactus!) Iam going to get out to do those lights- they're closeby and a really neat display. This is the season where I do a bunch of photographs-- went to see my sister in Tampa, and havesome beautifulsunsets. Gotta postthem.. I can'tbelieve how early I go to bed, the pictures stay in the camera. Well, want to say hi to all friends, to wish the best of holidays. We some some cold weather at nightk, so it does make it feel like chirstmas/hanukah etc. Looking forward to more photographs. Kitsune tsuki, love the Dr. Who you posted-- make sure you see the holiday show.
Twilight samuri, panda and cosmic sailor, BIG HELLO!

And the beat goes on

Well, here goes round 7 of "The Great House Renovations" All plumbing replaced, many walls and ceilings rippied out, replaced, textured and repainted. Basically, the inside of the house looks brand new, irrigation system repiared twice. Rabbits ate the backyard down to the soil! Now is timje to sort through 15 years of stuff accumulated, which now is kinda mixed up.
Arrg-- its something, because you just go day to day and rarely realize what you have, and what do you really need to keep---like my family, we always kept 2 lightbulbs in case one burned out. I was shocked to find that my computer lamp would not take wither one of them because the technology changed so radically (but really probably only recently). I guess the incandescent but is fast becoming another "thing of the past". So, I will try to sketch as I continue to sort.

But happy news--- my co-workers have had their babies, all healthy, and quite cute. And everyone had reived a baby blanket- ranging from thick cotton to lace. All four of them. Allthe little ones are just beautiful.

So life goes on--and I guess sketches will be made. I miss you ,my friends, and hope not to be away this long again. Any suggestions about anime? Has anyone seen Black ButleR?

I think the house is winning

Yucky! Another miserable house chore and more contractors coming to fix stuff. Sometimes I almost feel I should hang out a sign " Contractors Haven" on the front lawn. Sigh-- life is too short to keep messing with this.Oh, well. Have to look for some new anime and manga-- any suggestions? The fields non far from the house are bursting with tiny yellow flowers-- they start as a small spot in the canyons,k and quicklyrace d spread, and cover all meadows and fields in bright yellow for a brief time, then the brown returns to the canyons to remain the rest of the year. In So Cal , the weather has been verystrange, raining every weekend, and cloudier than usual-- hopefully, the green, and wildflowers will last just a little longer, keeping the fields and canyons painted with colours like the belles of the ball they are. Or at least in the eyes of this earthmother.

What do you all find beautiful to see in your realms?

Enjoy!

And the beat goes on....

The clouds are lifting, and my backyard was appropriately filled with bunnies this morning. Wishing all a happy Easter! And wacch out for jell y beans running quickly to avoid being consumed.

More fun with the house

Well, an Earth mother's work is just never done. When its time t relax and putter, there's always new and "mysterious" happenningsover the years-- my friend was laughing and saying "Aw , that isn't bad, remmber when the gophers ate your backyard , twice!" I should have taken paictures-- the backyard looked like the Sahara with all the grass roots eaten. Soon , I'll be getting plants for the back yard for Birds Garden. We have 2 feeders, a little bird house, and all the little birded love to sit in my persimmon tree (especially hummingbirds). I need yet another finch sock (they destroyed 2- but they have so much fun making the feeder twirl and then ride and eat). My office is filled with wooden birds, stuffed toy birds.... lots of birds, plus pictures of my parrot. I miss the little conure (even thoughhe bit me a lot ). But the amazon has always been the second bird I got, sonow she enjoys being the "the Queen bird". She is a heck of a alarm. My painter came early to consentiously estimate paint for a job.... and she let out a cry he could hear outside the house, and it scared him. Whenhe came inside togo over the contract, the parrot flappede her wings and cooed like a baby bird, wantig to be petted and given some food.I guess things are never dull here-- just too dang busy!

Well , today I might go to the movies -- what would you all suggest? I enjoy animatation the best-- its sofar from anything it relaxes. The bookstore I got anime from is closing-- gonna have o scout around or buy online. I miss the bookstore, getting mysteries, manga, and then my green tea.

Well, out to my errands. Lighting a candle to hope that aid , comfort and recovery comes quickly to the Japanese people affected by all those disasters.
Thinking about my friends here, and hoping you all have a grand week.
