June 6th was my graduation ceremony from high school.We decided to do it at the college closest to us,as they have a lot more room.We arrived,got dressed and situated and such.Then my boyfriend and I headed down to where we were to wait until it was time to start.We were all quite excited.
Finally,the time came.We lined up next to who we wanted to sit with and began our walk.We marched in time to Pomp and Circumstance,as tradition allowed.Everyone was quite happy...
And then it happened...
Everyone was almost to their seats when a woman came running on to the stage and asked the band to stop playing the music for an announcement.That's when the creepy feeling came up.And here's why...
"Attention everyone!I hate to stop the ceremony,but a tornado has been sighted 10 miles away from here and could be headed in our direction.Please remain calm and evacuate to the lower rooms!"
O.o;;
Yeah...so we spent most of our graduation down in a small room with many people in it and separated from our families.I was glad I was with my boyfriend,but we both have a phobia of tornadoes,so we weren't happy campers ^^;
But,the ceremony continued later without any more delays,so I am now a high school graduate.
Hey,at least it'll be a memorable experience,right?
