As some of you know, I'm in the process of finishing some fan arts and comics as late late Christmas presents. >3<
I have the drawings all done, I'm just in the colour phase. That's just some of the sketches below. :3
I guess you could say I'm having a colourer's block. Similar to a writer's or drawer's block. I should get over it soon and they should all be posted by Jan.9th. Now I'm reading books and thinking about some wallies I'm tempted to make.
Oh yeah! I've decided to make one of my original comics into production :3
It's a historical fiction, so I hope you guys are interesting the ancient history :3
I should have character designs and profiles loaded towards the end of the month, so look out for them ;D
I just wanted to elaborate on my Eon/Eona ideas a little. So, what I did was email the author (Alison Goodman) if it would be alright to make her works into a manga format (for a non profit use as with disclaimers). I waited around a week and got her very polite response. She said "Unfortunately, given my contractual situation, I am unable to authorize your creation of a graphic novel based on EON and/or EONA."
Though this is a kind of downer, I don't really mind because she added "Although I know it is not the same as creating your own artwork, I would like to offer you signed posters of the beautiful covers of EON and EONA." AND I'M THINKING WHOA!!! NO WAY!!!! *feigns* I'm seriously so happy right now! ^__^
I guess I'll have to think of a new idea for my book to manga projects~!

Yeah, that's right. Why am I not writing [another] horrible essay due for Friday? Well because [1] my brain feels like MUSH, like the really yucky, slippery mush. [2] I'm super bored and cannot write a relfection to save my life ;) Those are my reasons so I'm forgivien kay?
Alright, so I've been thinking and thinking. So I've made my decision to work on two works that are pretty popular and make them into a manga.
[1] The Hunger games series. I. LOVE. THESE. BOOKS. TO. DEATH. The movie is coming out *squels* I'll see how the first few pages go and then I'll decide whether or not to continue. This will be a super long project (probably years), but it really depends. ^_^
