Usagi is now in deep shit because none of the girls' attacks against Kunzite seem to be working. You would've thought that they'd know he'll be harder to beat, considering how they fared against Zoisite last episode.
But just as she's about to fall off a building to her death...
Of course he has. That's ALL he ever does.
Apparently, this kicks Usagi's brain into gear, and she becomes all protective of her Mamo-chan.
Gurl, didn't he need to rescue your ass because you CAN'T handle the enemy??
Major hilarious moment when Usagi tells Mamo-chan to run away. Like he did at the beginning of the episode, when he was moping about not being able to rescue Sailor Moon from Zoisite's awesomeness.
After that, Usagi leaps back into battle with a plan clearly formed in her mind.
[Mamo-chan's voice-over. I swear I didn't screencap her crotch on purpose.]
So what does she do next?
Stands there like a deer in the headlights, no plan whatsoever, probably wanting to act as a human shield of sorts to protect her friends, and is surprised when Kunzite treats her as a human shield and attacks her.
Cue Mamo-chan having to rescue Usagi's sorry ass AGAIN by taking the blow for her. Right after her inspirational speech and his fawning over her bravery and inner strength.
Because GRRL PWR is all about inspirational speeches...until there's actual fighting to be done.
But hey, at least Minako's transformation was awesome, right?
