Nights discomfort was not eased at all with the admission to himself that her so called dream she might have had the night before was actually true. Now, he could actually see the creatures for himself. His eyes went wide and he dropped the satchel he had made to carry the fruit in front of him. He was in awe at the paradise before him and shock with so many creatures sitting and waiting. His jaw was hanging open and he wasn’t even quite sure what to say about any of it. Only his wildest dreams could have created such a paradise.
The entire collection of Lemur like creatures stared as if they were waiting for something to happen. No, they weren’t staring at them; they were staring at Elizabeth… but why?
He was worried for her, but her attitude had not shown any sign of fear and he thought for a moment that he was being over protective. So far, she had lead the way and she had been the one to face the unspeakable. His eyes traveled to where she stood and lingered there for a moment, before looking to the leafy satchel on the ground. He exhaled a silent breath and picked up the stick. He looked back to Liz with defeat in his eyes, knowing that he had to put more trust in her. He had to stop getting so upset over things he did not understand. He felt that his fears were going to get him killed so he gave in and decided to follow the fearless; Elizabeth.
He stood by her side, practically dwarfing her with his height and he looked around at all of the creatures staring down at her. He looked back to Elizabeth. “What say you little one. What is our next move?” He manages to smirk letting her know that he was ok, if for whatever reason she thought him not.
