She felt emboldened and as light as a feather. She could tell Night believed in her which was definitely something new for her. No one had ever really given much faith in her before because of how clumsy and hyper she was. It was a great feeling that seemed the flow throughout her veins and capillaries.
Squeezing onto his hand tighter, Elizabeth took a step forward with Night, bringing her right in front of the strange creature. He did a sort of bow, bending at his waist with his right arm bent in front of his stomach. She mimicked him, hoping it was the proper gesture, elbowing Night in the side to copy her. After straitening up, Elizabeth finally asked something that had been on her mind for a while now.
"This... may sound rude, but what are you?" She tilted her head after she asked as random possibilities ran through her mind. Her eyes once again glanced around at all of the others that had scattered amongst the tree. She smiled seeing a few of the smaller ones actually clinging to the bases of a few of the trees that were closest them.
The tall and colorful being stood up to his full height, completely dwarfing Night now, his fur rustling slightly from the movement. The small talismans and beads he had twined on his person made a soft, delightful twinkling sound. He laughed deep in his chest, the sound seeming to make the very air around them vibrate. His gaze roamed around the clearing before he looked at Elizabeth, his large orange eyes peering into hers as he sad loudly and clearly, "We are the Spreekalin."
