Electronic Arts has announced at a press conference that they will be releasing a new installment in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. The game is being developed by DICE, best known for developing Mirror's Edge and the Battlefield games. Platform and release information has yet to be announced.

EDIT: I stated that DICE developed the previous games in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. This is incorrect; DICE actually developed the Battlefield series. Previous installments of the Star Wars: Battlefront games were developed by Pandemic Studios and Lucasarts Entertainment, and by Rebellion Developments.
