"Daddy are you shure it is safe to take on such a big case? Isn't it dangerous?" Dad just looked at me and ruffled my hair. "Now honey why would this case be any different from all the other cases ive handled? Why dont you go play with your brother." I walked out of the room. Man sometimes its just so hard to know your dad is a cop. Especially when you know he is going after the most dangerous mob leader of them all. Alpha Viidegashion. When i got into the hall i heard my mom ask my dad "Are you sure we will be alright?" He did not answer.

-One Month Ago-

My dad was close. The case was almost finished. Alpha was going to go to prison for a very long time. I was so happy, but then the threats started. They came in letters, email, and on the answering machine. They said that if my dad did not drop the case that they would go after us. My dad began to get worried, but instead of stopping he just tried to finish the case faster. He was going to use all the threats as evidence. He never got the chance.
I was at home cooking the Celebration Feast for my brother. My parents had gone to watch my brother perform in a band concert. While driving back home their car caught on fire and ran off the road. Both of my parents were dead. My poor little brother had burns on 99% of his body. He was taken to the hospital and was in a coma for most of the night. I stayed by his side at the hospital. He regained conciousness once the whole time he was there. He looked at and me squeezed my hand. "Sis...it...hurts so much." A tear ran down his face and then...he was gone. I fell into a sea of despair that i could not ecsape from, and i didnt want to. At least when i was in that sea of despair everything was numb. When i surfaced from it all i felt was pain. I wanted it to end. I dont remember much from that time after that, but i know i moved around alot. From one place to another. Not caring that all my friends had come to hate me. Then all the texts started comming in.

I was so scared. i didnt want to die. I knew who was texting me, and i knew i could not stay in that town. I had to run, but where to. Then i remembered that night in New York. "Yuki." I would find him. There was no way Alpha would look for me all the way in Japan. And that was that. I took all the money i could get and ran away. I bought a plane ticket and was off to Japan.
