An adorable series! Highly reccomended!
This series I watched (anime only, not manga) in English.
Ok, so basically, this young boy has an unusuall experience where he sees a beautiful woman appear out of thin air. The next day, the mysterious woman in his new teacher. He find out that she is an alien, from outer space. After a problem with the tele-porter, they both end up in his bath-tub, where his uncle walkes in on him. In an effort to cover the fact that his teacher is an alien, the boy is forced to pretend he is having an affair with her. Later, in an effort to cover the non-exsistant affair, they get married.
So, this high-school student is now married to his super-hot teacher from another planet. They can't let his family know that they actually aren't sexuall, and they can't let the students know they are even together, but as they have one adventure after another, they fall in love, and learn that being apart is harder then being together.
Now, there are some very suggestive scenes in this, some blatant sexuall references, but I doubt that bothers much of the older audience, and I personally found it very charming and amusing.
The art is nice, smooth and easy. The storyline flows pretty well. There are some very cute episodes, but other deal with very deep, very real problems in an open, mature, and well explained way. Its by no means a gold standard. But its nice to have someone face these issues in a realistic sense now and then.
Also, the voices are really done very well. Each voice matches the charachter, and even though I watched it in English, the dub was very god, in my opinion.
The last episode seemd incredably rushed, and I won't spoil the ending, but I really enjoyed it overall, and am already in the middle of watching the sequal series "Please Twins".
O, BTW, I'm 19 now!!! whooooooot!
