today we had x counrty practice in the pouring rain. Now i'm really cold... it was really fun though.
I know i originally said that i was going to post my times from the meets, but i kinda forgot the exact times, so i'm just going to be kinda general. I'm just going to say that... I am only 14 so i'm slow compared to you high schoolers on cross country who can run 5 minute miles or whatever!! okay...
so, at the first meet I came in at a whooping 17 minutes. (this is for 2 miles)
second meet, 16:30 minutes.
third meet, 16:20 (aproximately)
fourth meet, 16:10 aprox.
fifth meet, 16:00 (<-- my actual exact time.)
so i've improved a lot... and i'm still getting better and not worse. my goal for the next meet is under 16minutes. now i'm really anxious to do "the mile run" in gym class cause i want to see how much i have improved from my 8:04 mile last year. one mile will be a piece of cake since we run 3 miles at practice usually now... so i'll be sure to post that when we finally do it. (even though i'm sure nobody actually cares about my mile times and stuff. I just like to document these things i guess...)
next weeks only a three day week cause we have parent-teacher conferences and then it's columbus day! yay! we're going on our annual columbus day weekend camping trip (that i have been going on since i was 1) that i totally love!! I get to see my godfather and his family, and they are like, my favorite people! i'm soooo looking forward to that! (^o^)//;
and this weekend som eof our relatives who i haven't seen in a while are coming over for my brothers' and my belated birthday party (they were out of town for various reasons until now). yup... I'm very excited! (>v<)
