okay i'm posting part one of the first chapter of a story i'm writing(it doesn't have a name yet! any ideas?) please leave comments and constructive criticism is welcome(but please be nice about it!
) okay here we go:
Chapter1, part one
Zero sat against the wide trunk of an old oak tree looking up at the few rays of sunlight that made their way through the thick mass of branches. He munched boardly on an apple, he looked at the open space in front of him, this part of the land had not yet been consumed by big cities and pollution, most of the grass was varying shades of green with spots of yellow mixed in, their were large old trees scatered around the wide area their leaves matched the ground with many different shades of green and yellow, their trunks were deep brown colors that somehow matched perfictly with it all. The ground was relatively flat and long dirt roads would run through all the way to the small towns and villages scatered about.
Zero looked to his side where his little sister - Mya - was sound asleep with her gardian - a white fox named Naru - in her lap. mya was rather short compaired to zero and look completely different, she was albino had long, straight, white hair, pale skin and pink-red eyes -which looked very pretty on her - but she would always wear dark colored clothes like dark purples and blacks she. Mya had a personality like their mother, kind to everyone but stern when it was necessary, but if you took a picture of ther parents she looked like neither. Zero, on the other hand was like their father was tall and tan, his hair was short, raven-black, and messy and his eyes were black-brown, he wore light colors - mostly white and light blue - he would act kind around his sister and - most of the time - only his sister(you could say he has a sister complex) but towards strangers he was stern and cautious. most of the time people would not peg them a brother and sister cause of their contrast in appearance and personality.
Zero had hopped they would reach the town before nightfall but with the way Mya was sleeping he knew they wouldn't have made it if they had left and hour ago, but then again Zero wasn't about to wake his precious little sister either.
Mya stired gently in her sleep, causing her head to fall onto Zero's shoulder,"Ah~ Mya. What am i going to do with you?" Zero joked brushing pieces of ghostly white hair off of her face. Mya's eyes fluttered open and she yawned, " Eh~? Zero~kun *yawn* hm...i had a nice nap." Mya said looking up at the sky while Zero got up the feed their horse - sora. Mya's eyes widened, "Zero!!!! why didn't you wake me up if it was this late!" Mya exclaimed and started to hurriedly get her stuff togther, she looked up and Zero who was still feeding sora," hello! we gotta hurry or we won't make it!" Mya yelld. Zero looked over at the small girl, " we wont make it anyway we might as well take our time." Zero stated in a calm voice. Mya looked away, "i'm sorry i didn't mean to sleep so long." Mya apologized sudenly finding interest in her hands, " Mya if i really cared i would have woken you up their is no need to apologize, besides we're in no hurry." Mya looked up at Zero, he smiled at her in a kind brotherly way, Mya smiled back and started packing her thing again at a slower pace.
After they had finished packing and straping their bags to Sora's back, Zero turned around and stared down at Mya, "What?" Mya asked zero just kept staring and her a small frown on his lips, "What?!" Mya said with impatience. Zero snaped his fingers and smiled, "Zero! what is it!" Mya snaped,"Mya, your cat ears are still showing." Zero said with a smirk.
