When you watch an English dub for once after watching the subs for a really long time... haha NO. >:T <-- my face right there, no joke.
So that right there was the whole point to the post, I'm watching toonami and they just added Naruto Shippuden which I've been watching on hulu with subs and I finally completely understand now how people can say they prefer the subs. It didn't really matter to me before, but now I have to agree with the people who prefer subs. I mean I love it no matter what, and it's nice to not have to rewind a bunch because I missed something, but I finally understand the preferences now.
In other news, since it's been a long time since I've posted I'm thinking an update is in order.
Well, my year hasn't started off great, not that it's been bad, just, not such great luck... I slept all day on the first, and since then I've just had some pretty bad luck. I got locked out of my house. NO JOKE. I went outside to my car to get some clothes and after I shut the door, I just for some reason checked it and it was locked. My phone, iPod, and keys were inside, and all the doors were locked. I had to climb in through my bedroom window which is technically a second floor window, my house has like, half floors? There are stairs but there's only like 5, but it means my window was pretty high up. Anyway, I had to get something to stand on so I tried a lawn chair, which guess what... IT BROKE =_= I ended up having to resort to standing on a garbage can and then the window was being stupid and wouldn't open up right away. And since then I have kicked snow that turned out to be ice, been 'attacked' by my friend's dog (He is a husky and loves me so he kept trying to cuddle and it just wasn't working out right) and we forgot to close a window when I stayed at my friends house so we got to sleep in like 5 degree temp.
It isn't just me either, it's also the people around me. My friend's boyfriend cheated on her just hours after telling her he loved her for the first time (they'd only been dating a couple of weeks) and my dad and step mom went on a trip to Texas to see her daughter and their luggage got lost on the way back. My roommate, who dropped cosmetology school, is being forced to go back rather than go to community college with me because the cosmo school claims she still owes them money even though her loans are what paid for it and she shouldn't owe them anything.
I'm pretty sure there's more but since it's only 5 days into the new year I think that's enough to get my point across (:
It's just that despite all those unlucky and bad things, I'm not letting it get me down, and I'm staying happy. The last two months of last year were too awful for me, and I really want this year to be better.
Well this was a much longer post than intended, and my eyeballs are starting to sting so I'm calling bed time. Hopefully my attempt at re-registering for my college classes will work out and I'm gonna try to not think about it until I can double check it all. I'm hoping it isn't too late >:T
