The Story

PROLOGUE
As Mevo, a 14 year old with black, long hair and fairly thin, sat at his desk organizing his cards he heard the all too familiar sound of duels raging outside his house. He wanted to get out there and show them how good he was but he didn't have a duel disk. He was just under the required level 4 but he knew he could kick those guys dueling in the streets acting as if battle city was theirs for the taking. All the sudden he saw a giant beam of light. He suspected the duel was over. He used this opportunity to run out of the house to the local game shop and get a duel disk. When he arrived, he realized that he was still one level lower than needed so he challenged the owner, John, to a duel. The Terms were negotiated and if he won, Mevo would be allowed to make a custom duel disk, if he lost but put up a great fight, he would be given an original duel disk, just like all other duelist's, if he barely put up a fight, he would not be given a duel disk. The coin went up as Mevo called tails. It landed on the training disk with tails facing up. He felt as if he had all the worlds luck in him as he drew his first six cards.

DUEL #1

Just as I thought my day couldn't get any better, I drew some of the most promising cards. My first hand consisted of Skull Invitation, Coffin Seller, Foolish Burial, Monster Reborn, G.B. Hunter, and Nightmare Wheel.
"I'll set G.B. Hunter in defense mode and use foolish burial to send Wicked Avatar from my deck to my graveyard and summon him to the field using Monster Reborn! Next I'll set two cards face down an end my turn!" I said. There was no way I wouldn't be able to win this duel without a fight!
"Wow!" said John "Empty hand by your first end phase! Impressive... but that doesn't mean I don't have a good hand. So...DRAW!". He examined his hand probably thinking of what cards I have face down. I'll set Man Eater bug in defense mode! And according to his special ability I get to destroy your G.B. Hunter! And I finish by placing two cards face down"
"Not so fast! I activate my trap card Skull Invitation! Even though it affects me now, it will hurt you too later. Now I'll draw! Now I use Foolish Burial and send The Wicked Avatar from my deck to the graveyard and then use Monster Reborn to bring him back onto the field! Now let your puny insect be swallowed by the darkness which my Avatar has created! And now activate another trap card Coffin Seller! This brings you down to 3,400 life points" I shouted making sure he didn't miss anything.
I could tell John was in awe of my decks power by the look on his face. He was probably thinking along the lines of "What the heck just happened! It's his second turn and I'm already down 600 life points and he has a level 12 monster on the field!".
"Now" I said "I'll give you this one chance to surrender! If you want to continue the pain decline, if you would like to end this now and not have to bear more excruciating turns, then I suggest you take my offer and ease the suffering.
John's head was shaking up and down repeatedly. I then told him what color I wanted my duel disk to be and what I wanted it to look like. It will be circular and will hold 4 monster and spell cards. Then, another 2 will pop out when I start a battle. Then, there will be a graveyard over where my arm would be and the deck holder on top of that. He said I should get it in the mail within 2-4 days.

DUEL #2

When the duel disk arrived it was exactly what I imagined it to be. I slid it on my arm and went off to dueling school. I notified my principal that I had received a duel disk so that he can promote me to 5th grade, my final year! Once I passed the exam I was a free duelist with every right to duel any duelist I see. The exam is having to beet Jonouchi, a friend of the legendary Yugi Motou. He only comes around once a year. He'll be coming to Duelist Academy in about a month.
When I entered my class room (A giant dueling arena) my friend, Jake, ran up to me. "Let's duel" he said.
"You should really learn to keep that fat mouth of yours shut." I said in response "Because there isn't the slightest chance of you winning this time!"
"We'll see about that!" he said. The coin went up and he called heads in the air. When it landed, it got stuck between two tiles on the floor. This time I flipped it and it landed on my duel disk as heads so Jake started. We each drew are 5 cards and he drew another since it was his turn. I had a loaded hand that included Gravekeeper's spy, Gravekeeper's guard, Necrovalley, and Meteor flare.
"I'll play Exiled Force in defense mode and end my turn." said Jake.
"It's my turn so draw" I said I observed my new and strongest card, Earthbound Immortal Cusillu! "I'll play Gravekeeper's spy in attack mode and it's effect allows me to summon one more Gravekeeper with 1,500 or less attack from my deck to the field and I'll use that to summon another Spy and use that ability to summon Gravekeeper's spear soldier and use that to attack your exiled force and due to it's effect you take 500 damage and then both of my Spies attack you bring you down to 1,100 life points.
Jake knew he was in a world of hurt but he continued. "I'll play Infernity beast in defense Mode and end my turn." he said
"This is my last turn" I said "I play Necrovalley and tribute my Spies to summon Earthbound Immortal Cusillu! And now I am able to attack you directly using Cusillu and your life points reduce to nothing! That means I WIN!!!"
Jake stood there stunned at the fact that one of the most indestructible cards was in my deck. He kept repeating phrases like "WOW!! Such a strong card!!!" and "Why would they make such a card as this?". After he looked at it for about fifteen seconds I shuffled it back into my deck. My teacher who was apparently observing the duel the whole time looked pleased. Later he told me he wanted me to take the final this year. After that I don't remember anything because I apparently blacked out. I woke up on the hospital with my duel disk beside me I checked to make sure I had all my cards. Not a single card was missing. Apparently I blacked out from too much excitement and was asleep for five days strait. Realizing the Final was in 5 days I jumped out of the hospital bed, got my duel disk and ran into the streets of battle city when I was dressed.
I saw a duelist in a jacket, white shirt, and jeans. I yelled to him "DUEL ME!!!". When he looked up I noticed that this was my final, the duelist that I'm going to verse is Jonouchi and I know he's not going to hold back. I had Jake run to the school and get my teacher. We started when my teacher arrived.
I yelled tails as I flipped the coin into the air when it landed, it landed on tails. "So far, so good" I murmured to myself. "I'll go first" I said "I drew my sixth card. I had a really good hand again. I had Medusa worm, Earthbound immortal Aslla Piscu, metal reflective slime, Gravekeeper's Spy, Necrovalley, and Dark allusion. Sorry Joey but looks like lucks on my side today!
"I'll play Necrovalley and Gravekeeper's spy and summon another Gravekeeper's Spy using the card effect and summon Gravekeeper's spear soldier and end my turn" I said.
"It’s my turn so DRAW" he yelled "I'll play swordsman of Landstar in defense mode and one card face down and end my turn."
"It's my turn so DRAW" I said. I looked at the card, Kaibaman, hopefully I can draw Blue Eyes White Dragon soon. "Now I summon Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu by tributing both of my spies and attack your Swordsman of Landstar using my spear soldier and then attack you directly with Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu brining you down to 700 life points.”
“My turn so DRAW! I activate face down card!” Jonouchi said “Rope of Life and I return Swordsman of Landstar to the field. And I tribute him to summon the legendary Red Eyes Black Dragon! Red Eyes Black Dragon attack Spear Soldier!”
I stood there chuckling and eventually said “I have already activated Dark Illusion which saves Spear Soldier!”
“@%$#!!”
“That was probably your last turn because your down to 700 life points and with Earthbound Immortal Aslla Piscu on the field your done for but since it’s my turn I’ll draw.” I scanned my new card, Blue Eyes White Dragon! “I summon Kaibaman and use his special ability to summon Blue Eyes White Dragon which destroys your Red Eyes! And now I finish you off using Spear Soldier!”
Jonouchi fell to the ground cards scattered I helped him up and gave him all of his cards and insisted he didn’t give me his Red Eyes and told him about how this was just my school final and it didn’t go toward his dueling record.
