I finally got photoshop cs4.. and i must say that i prefer cs3 >_> probably because some things in cs4 are a little different.. but i'll get used to it XD and omg the tablet+the mac=fail. It's like not coordinating correctly with where i have my pen on the tablet.... a;sldkfjsdlkfj Maybe it's because i havent used my tablet in a while and i'm not used to it? i dont know.. but i started a picture yesterday for the hell of it.. and ooommmmggg does my lineart look like crap. now i'm just coloring it to play around with colors >,>
anyway... 21 days till college... people are freaking counting down on facebook D8 *asplodes* i'm like not ready... at all... for reasons that i have posted about in the past. i'm not worried about classes, schoolwork, meeting people... just one issue >.> ;ALSKDJFALDFK
but yeah... gonna go pick up my painting and my paints from my art school today. pce outt

I never posted about orientation XD and i said i would a few days ago XD so i'll post whatever i can remember :3
Day 1:
It was freaking pouring when we were driving up there. Several times my mom was like i'm really tired, Rachel you might have to drive. I was like O___O oh hellz no i'm not. You could barely see anything the rain and the fog were like ZOMFG I TAKE OVER YER EYES NAO. We got there about a half an hour late which was alright, but then it took us another hour driving around the damn campus to find where we had to check in. They had no signs telling us where to go, very disorganized >_<;
When we found the place to check in, i ran to where they were having the welcome ceremony w/e and people were already dispersing into their groups o_o;;;; we we're separated by major, so i was with 19 other art majors. We went into the student union building and our orientation leader talked about the college and then we did ice breakers which were fun :D
It was verrrry awkward talking to people though >_> and there were plenty of times i would walk with my group by myself and not talking to anyone. Like i'm usually not shy... but i started out shy WHICH SUCKS as;dflkjk. At night we could do whatever we wanted without being in our groups, so i met up with this girl i met a few weeks ago and we sat with a few other people in the main lobby of the residence hall.
Went back to my room after a bit, i think i was in bed by like...1:30.. and there were these F***ing geese... THEY WOULND NOT SHUT UP OMG it was like world war 3 but with geese o_o
Day 2:
Less awkward.... we did more ice breakers and we got with the theatre/music group of kids. So that was cool to see other people. We also had a lip sync, my mom recorded each groups lip sync... but she zoomed in on me for most of ours >_>;;;; and i wanted to post it D8 now i'm so not lolll We basically chose 6 songs and our orientation leader put them together and we made up a dance for it. it was fun. we didn't win.. but that's okay XD
We also made our schedules. I LOVE MY SCHEDULEa s;dlfkjasd;lfkj i have drawing 1, integrated design 1, art seminar, composition 1, and intro to psychology. I got out of all language and math requirements >D bhwhahaha. I actually originally had spanish in my schedule... but then i went to academic advising and asked them about AP grades.. turns out i didnt need spanish at all o_O so they let me into a different class i wanted (psych was actually completely full o_O they overrided it for me >D mwhahaha)
Day 3:
Much shorter day, we chose where we wanted to live. Both of my roommates were at my orientation, but i only saw one of them. The one i saw is really nice, the other girl she added me on facebook... she's looks like one of those girls who was popular in high school >_> but who knows maybe she's nice XD

sorry i didn't post yesterday >_< i was being lazy lol. The eye doctor was alright. i have to get glasses cuz i'm near sighted. i don't need them all the time, just well for when i really need em lol. it was weirdd my pupils were dialated for like... 2 days o_o;;;;;; now they're good though X3
Tomorrow i go to my college for orientation :D should be a lot of fun. i have to start packing D8. i wont be home from tuesday-thursday... well thursday night i'll be home, so ... no posts from me xD
i hope finding a roommate and choosing classes goes well.. asdflkj
but yeah i'm gonna go and start gathering things for packing XD have a great next few days guys :3
