I came across an old account of mine on a website where I posted a lot of written works I had done. I used it back in middle school, with my written works on there being in 2008 and 2009. I decided to read through some of my best stuff on there, just for kicks, to see how far I have progressed in my work.
THE HORROR. THE HORROR!
I was plagued with poorly written stories with horrible progression, foul and warped ideas of teenage romance, unnecessary and awkwardly placed cussing, and grammar problems galore. There was too much attention to details that didn't matter whatsoever, and barely any detail or time spent on key plot points.
Middle School Me, you were an idiotic little b****. I knew you were messed up, and part of that was due to the fact that you were 1. a middle schooler and 2. constantly bullied to the point of depression.
But thank you for growing up to having so much more potential.
Never ever will we write fan-fiction again. Not after how we butchered Harry Potter and Warriors.
To end this on a positive note, I'll put this randomly selected image here and hope I don't have to replace it later with something else cause it's inappropriate or something!
