"Okay!!!! Are you guys Ready??!!" The squad captain said, it was her first try as leader, and she herself was a bit nervous. "YES SIR!" they responded. Every member of the team wrapped their hands around the bar of their hand glider. "Here we go!" the captain shouted. As soon as the leader uttered the last syllable, the team was jumping off the cliff. They Hit a gust of wind and sailed out over the ocean. The smells of fish, sand, and salt wafted through the air and past their noses. In total, seven people made up the rescue squad. Their job consisted completely of saving children from the underwater cities, espescially when they got stuck on broken merry-go-rounds. This time though, they needed to save one of the team members. "Alright were at the spot," Sarah announced, she was the captain, "let's head down!" The formation of people angled their gilders dowmward, so that they headed straight for the undulating water. Water sprayed on their faces as the gilders hit the water. Each person was able to breathe underwater. Completely submerged, they were ready to start the search for their lost agent. Finally, after hours of searching he was located on the broken down merry-go-round in the ancient district. We gotta get out of here people!" said Kim, she knew they could only breathe in the water for a couple more minutes. They positioned themselves on their gliders, and joe was riding with Shannon. "3, 2, 1, KICK OFF!!!!" sarah said, starting to need regular air. Everyone kick hard on the solid, yet sandy floor. When they broke the surface, they were gasping for air. "That was close boss," Megan said, "we need to be more carefull next time." "Yeah, you're definatly right pippi." Back at the house, the squad was preparing to show their parents what they learned. They were going to jump off the hotel building into the pool using their parachutes. They lived down in the underwater cities, where they played in the fountains and sprinklers inside the air dome, but to train for resque missions, they had to live above sea level. Sarah's turn was last so she had time to talk to joe. "Hey, do you remember rachel?" "No i'm sorry," he responded, "I've had liver cancer for three years." "Oh," she said, totally weirded out. Joe's turn to jump was now, and he landed perfectly in the blue water. Now Sarah was up. Okay, she told herself, here we go! She jumped and air whistled past her ears. Oh no! I'm too far too the left! she thought. Splat! She hit the concret with a boom. "AW! damnit!" she said as she got up from the fall., "That hurt!" "SARAH!" she heard her mom call, "What was that?
